Glossner not only teaches you what you need to know for the test, but gives you the reality of things and relates it to his and/or real life. Ask him questions that intrigue you about Psych and he'll be delighted to discuss with you. He's a wise and funny man. If you read the textbook, you will do fine.

Horrible! His lectures have barely anything to do with the tests. Just READ!Take a lot of notes, and take all 3 tests

Not quite sure what to say. He rambles for two hours twice a week. His ramblings normally start with a point related to Psych and end up somewhere else. READ the book and take notes. That's the only way to get through his class. He does not provide study guides or any other means to help you study. Other professors do. Do not take his class.

Super nice and funny, but he sometimes loses track of what he's talking about, even when answering students' questions about the material. The tests are HARD. If you take his PSY 101 class, definitely take all three tests offered for each unit and show up for class - you get 5 points added to your grade and you'll need them!

Fun professor for in class but definitely expects you to read the book. No notes really given. He does tell you to go the learning center and when he's there to help you. I will say though he is refreshingly realistic compared to some professors. I'm rarely bored during lecture.

He is a really nice guy, doesn't stay on topic very well. The things he says sometimes offends me because he is an atheist. I did learn in his class though. Basically you just have to do the reading and study.

Very great person, teaches like a PROFESSOR, you read the book and he highlights the important parts in class, yes he sometimes rambles but he gets the point across. He can be quick to point out others flaws, but if you say quiet and talk only when you are supposed to he leaves you alone.

The man is extremely smart. It was very clear that he HATES to be wrong, and he can be kind of mean. He went over many things in the book, but he also tells a lot of useless stories. It is imperative that you read the book, but that goes for most classes anyway. He is a bit intimidating, but he really isn't that bad. He will help if you ask for it.

Glossner doesn't just teach from the book. He teaches life. If you want someone to spoon feed you material don't take his class. If your a mature student who is willing to do the work then he will enrich you with knowledge. The man is brilliant and cares a lot about his students. His witty sense of humor is also a plus when in class.

I am a huge fan of Professor Glossner. The first 2 tests, I didn't get higher than a 70, but once I started reading the book, I pulled off A's the rest of the way. He does not use the notes style of teaching, and if you want to pass you are required to read the book. He uses a lot of real life experience and is a great teacher. Highly recommended!

When a woman shared a story of how she beat up her son, he said "You had to do that, he obviously had authority issues." I am a top notch student, have never withdrawn from another class, and can honestly say he is the most incompetent teacher I have EVER had the displeasure of meeting.

I am a 4.0 student. Glossner shames students when they ask him things he doesn't know. Students learn about his world view, not about textbook material. Endless stories about his life. First exam, average score was 50 %. He spent an hour scolding us, never admitting he had a role in it. He NEVER covered test/textbook material in class. Old. Big ego

Professor Glossner has a very distinct style. He expects you to read the material on your own, which seems to be difficult for some people. During lecture he will spend more time on the more difficult material, and is always willing to help students after class. His real-world experience really comes to light in his helpful analogies. Useful A.

I HATE this man!!!! He is by far the worst "teacher" I have ever met. He made me cry in front of the entire class. Basicly told me I am an idiot that does not know the proper way to maintain my marriage or raise my child!!! OLD MAN NEEDS TO RETIRE!!!!!

Very interesting guy. Educated in many areas, he knows what he's talking about. Doesn't recite the book necessarily, but he adds his insight and life experience to the lectures. His words and analogies really stick. Great sense of humor.
