I took the class my freshman year (now a jr), but the book he used was pretty bad in my opinion (he wrote it), and for some reason I couldn't actually apply his notes to his exams, nor his book for that matter. I'm not a big fan of econ and math all that stuff either though.

Kaifa is a great economics prof&anyone who needs to take econ should take it with this guy.Fairly easy exams (50 q's each) as long as you read the book¬es he gives in class.Go to class even if he doesn't take attendance since the notes&his lectures will help you better than what the book says.I got an easy A^_^

He is hilarious and fun to have as a professor, but tests are pretty hard. A lot of the questions were scenario questions and had little to do with the in-class lessons. Optional final to help your grade, which is awesome.

Kaifa is a great guy. Funny and intelligent. He gives 3 exams and an optional final. I read the book and studied notes and did well on the exams (50 multiple choice). He also gives opportunities for extra credit. "A" range is a little tight (90-100) but tests arent too bad. Do take him.

Kaifa is the freakin' man!!! He's funny as hell and easy too. His lectures are so refreshing from what you normally go through in NJIT. He almost made me want to switch my major to Economics. He is an awesome professor with very funny and interesting stories. Highly recommended. TAKE HIM!!!

I like this guy. I wish that i could take this guy for all my classes. Such a nice person. Take him and you will never forget this guy. You will never forget Kafaialistic Competitive market,stories, examples....etc. He is cool.

Great teacher, An interesting character who keeps you entertained with stories. Tests are semi-hard, especially the calculations, but certainly the best Economics teacher here. He knows what he is talking about, a genius in the subject of economics.He developed a formula and published a book.

The tests weren't the easiest in the world, but he's a good teacher and can communicate the info very well. He's pretty funny too. Likes to tell stories to demonstrate his lessons. I reccommend Kaifa for Econ classes.
