Comment:

Profesor Saab es muy atento! He was extremely helpful and proactive with the class. He made a Sunday class bearable with his creative ways of getting the class to participate in and out of the classroom. He was thorough and does not move on to the next lesson until the class is clear on the material. "any, any questions?!" glad I took this class.

Comment:

He's always extremely responsive to questions; he wants you to understand the material, and won't mind over-explaining. Lectures were 6 hrs, and his sense of humor definitely helped to pass the time (and encourage participation)! We used the textbook, but I learned way more from his anecdotes and explanations, so go to class. Fantastic teacher.

Comment:

Professor Saab is a down to earth individual. Its rare to come across professors who actually care for their students, but Professor Saab does just that. The lectures do not feel long simply because how engaging he makes the class. The class felt like a whole, which was encouraging. Professor Saab also replies to emails quickly which helps a ton!

Comment:

Took his Sunday 10a-4pm 6 cred class. He makes the hours go by so fast. Excellent, Compassionate and caring teacher who takes the time to make sure his students understand the material. Lab hours are required so be sure to have outside time. This class isn't easy because it requires work and attendance. Do both and you'll pass with no problem!

I was so lucky to have Prof. Saab! He's an amazing and caring professor. He makes sure that every student understands each lesson by the end of the class. He gives a lot of extra credit during exams. Projects/presentations are easy and fun. Attendance and participation matters. The easiest 6 cred ever. Thank you prof Saab!

I took his Sunday morning 6-hour intensive class and it was actually worth it because he's funny, caring, and so genuine! I learned how to speak Spanish not just read and write it. The work is not crazy and projects (necessarily) need time spent on them. I enjoyed the class so much and would honestly voluntarily take it again if I had the time.

Comment:

Professor Saab is a very experienced and knowledgeable teacher with a strong grasp of the grammar of the Spanish language. The class is from 10AM-4PM but his enthusiasm and wide breadth of knowledge makes the time go very quickly. He is very good at balancing the time by making sure the concepts are understood while also covering a lot of material.

Comment:

The best language professor I have had. Super efficient at deducing the language down to it most understandable parts. He does push you to learn more, write more, and read more in depth works but he doesn't ask you to do anything outside of what you should be able to do. He is a stickler for punctuality so DO NOT BE LATE. Great class and professor.

If you have the chance, take him for Spanish. Youll take yourself seriously. Hes so knowledgeable and hes so fun. He made a 6 hour Sunday class feel like a breeze and I was so sad the semester ended :( just pay attention, participate, and attend and do your hw. And youll get an A+ You actually learn in this class.

Professor Saab has got to be one of the best Professors at Hunter College. I took Spanish 203, Fall 2018 and he made me realize how interesting learning another language can be. His lectures go beyond just book-based lessons. He gives the best random Snapple facts, that are useful outside of class. Highly recommend this professor!

Prof. Saab is honestly a wonderful professor. He really pays attention to his class and adjusts lessons in ways that help the entire class keep up. His anecdotes and demonstrated intimate knowledge of the cultures, idioms, and dialects of the Spanish speaking world and literature add a depth to his lessons that I have never encountered. Take him!

Profesor Saab made Spanish 203 so enjoyable. He is very kind hearted and definitely cares about his students. He will help you and repeat the material over again if you didn't understand. He gives many excersises to practice the language. I definitely recommend taking this Profesor you won't regret it!

Professor Saab is one of the far best Spanish professor i ever took. He has his own way of explaining everything and you actually learn. I think i learned more spanish in 203 with him than i did in 101 and 102. He's never late or absent, he always helps out and he is very inspiring with all the story's he told us. TAKE HIM! you'll defiantly enjoy.

Professor Saab is one of the best professors I have ever met in the CUNY system. He makes class worth paying attention, makes things fun so its so much easier to understand and best of all, he genuinely cares about everyone.
