Comment:

Every Professor should have the enthusiasm and love for the material like Roman. He calls on you and has a memory so if you got the question wrong yesterday believe he will ask you again tomorrow but he is so endearing you want to get the right answer. I have the utmost respect for this man and thoroughly enjoyed taking his class. THE BEST!!!

Comment:

Professor Rotman before entering into his class I had no desire to learn the material. He teaches in such an inspirational, challenging way that you want to rise to the occasion. I have NEVER had a Professor that I admired like him. There was not one single student who walked out without learning. He is a kind, generous, caring professional.

i took him for western civilization II during summer II. his a good professor. he makes learning fun. his the book. a genuine comedian. no book required, but he gives a daily packet of papers of where the discussion will be. an easy going class eventhough its at 8am.

Awesome guy! Gets you involved in the class. Entertaining lectures and he's hilarious. Took for 2 wk intersession and I'm taking another class for spring because of it. It's a great refresher course but if you want to truly learn the subject, I recommend taking a longer class with him. He wants YOUR opinion on matters. No right or wrong with him.

I have never ever seen anybody more in love with What he does than Mr. Rotman. This guy is unbelievable, he is one of the best at Massasoit. Highly recommended. I love him, I respect him. I learned a lot from taking his western civ 1&2. He is a sweetheart. He makes going to class over the summer worth it. Hands down THE Best.

Hands down! the BEST professor that I came across during my time at MASSASOIT. Cares about his students, loves being a teacher. He is just the best. I walked in his class with the idea that I was just there because I needed history but he is giving me the love for history. His advice are the best, I love and respect him. He is the man! Good man.

Took summer session. Not at all interested in the subject but he was such a great professor I became very interested in the subject. He wants the students to succeed and has a great style of teaching. I would take any class he taught.

I have been at Massasoit for 3 years and he has easily been the most helpful and overall best proffessor I have had during my experience here. He is knowledgeable and makes you actually learn but what is more important is he actually wants the students to succeed. I highly recommend him and stay away from professor Coburn.

Incredible professor. Yes, he may have strayed from the curriculum a little bit, but this man taught me about life. School should be a little abstract and not always a memory game. The life lessons I've learned from here are invaluable. I would go out of my way to take his class.

Absolutely wonderful professor. He will go off topic, that you can count on, and he'll always end class early. However, he genuinely cares about his students and makes an effort to keep everyone involved during class time. He's also funny as hell. If you're anything like me and despise history courses, take him. He'll make it more than bearable.

He is an incredible professor. He is very dedicated to and passionate about the subject matter, even if he does tend to get off topic. He gets a little excited, which leads to him getting pretty loud, but not in a bad way. He cares about his students as well. Overall, it was an awesome class.

Never before, or since, have I had a professor so in love with his subject as to jump up on his desk and portray the historical figures. He almost always ended class early, and while most of his lectures were not on the subject matter, it was definitely covered. Everything he tested on was well covered, and it was extremely enjoyable.

He's the only western civ professor at Massasoit that kept me interested in the subject. The only reason why he's an "Easy A" is because his tests are straight from the notes and his lectures are very clear. Great professor, can't recommend him enough.

Definitely an easy A, and agree it's 6th grade material. Didn't learn anything I didn't already know, but what do you expect from massasoit. One of few classes where you don't learn anything but still enjoy the class. Great guy, loves teaching and his students.
