A very respectful professor. If you are interested in information technology, it will be an easy class to take. Make sure to study for the midterm and final as those two tests will make up much of your overall grade.

Professor Siddiqui is really a nice professor. I took CIS 13 from him and got an A and currently i'm taking CIS 11 from him. He's really respectful and helpful. If you attend lectures and do your labs on time, it's an easy A. I would definitely recommend this professor.

Comment:

Mr Siddiqui is a great teacher, really down to earth, casual and friendly. The only issue really are his test. It's all regurgitated from the text book, if you aren't into computers the test will be brutal. The lecture part is all IT / Computer while the lab is Access Excel. Tries hard to get everyone to pass though, will help w extra credit

He doesnt teach in his labs just tells you to read the book and is bad at explaining when you have issues. Also he he attemps to whisper your grade to you in class to show your grade progress and ends up making a fool of some people.

Class consists of 1 hour lab/ 2 hours lecture. In lecture he gives you notes that are important for tests but in lab he literally does nothing. His grading style it seems is also really subjective. I'd definitely have chosen a different teacher for CIS13 if you have the opportunity when registering.
