Truly enjoyed having this professor for my course. Helpful and answered any emails I sent at the beginning. Always provided me with feedback on my assignments that I would work with and was respectful.

Comment:

She posts the slideshows online, so it's not a real panic in class to write everything down. She shares stories, which makes the material easier to relate to for me. For tests, I study a few hours beforehand and typically get over an 80%. In my class, there were no essays or research papers, so it was definitely a low stress course.

Her classes are simple enough to follow and I like the fact that she includes Indigenous content in her lectures as it's important to mention. She posts her slides on d2l early enough and they are easy to follow along with. Good prof, good class!

Comment:

Her lectures tend to be more like documentaries of her life rather then her actually teaching us. She likes to talk about her personal life more than actual sociological theories. Also takes way too long to mark assignments and tests and makes you write other tests before getting any feedback from previous tests. Not very professional at all!

She is an excellent prof! Very approachable and always kept the class interesting! Although she did go off topic quite a bit, I still learned a lot from taking her class! Would definitely recommend he!

She is a very interesting teacher to listen to and although she may seem to go off topic sometimes she usually makes a good point relating to the topic. She is very approachable and overall a very nice professor. I would recommend others take her class as she is very knowledgeable about what she is teaching.

This is a teacher that does not hand you everything on a golden platter. some people find her annoying and while she does go off topic a lot, its full of other information. She is a fair marker, and is very approachable. if you are looking to be babied, don't take her - if you want to expand your knowledge , she has a lot to offer

Honestly, show up to her classes and you will pass. She goes off topic way too much, during a three hour class, shell be late the first hour, take about herself the second hour and the third will actually be course related. When she did teach though, it was very interesting! recommended if you want an easy pass

Worst Teacher ever, does not stay on topic, spends too much time talking about herself. Tries to be funny but she's not. Doesn't even explain learning material. Wastes basically the whole class trying to be "cool". Very irratating

I like Kaili as a person, I think she is cool, but, not as a professor. I tend to socialize with adults easily so I did feel like we were at the same level, so I could not take her seriously. Her style of teaching and grading didn't work for me. I won't take her classes but that's just me-some people really like her and that is good. A bit biased

Kaili is a great professor and I absolutely loved her classes. I think she grades fairly but if you don't try, don't expect to do well in her classes. I would recommend taking any of her courses for sure! :)

sorry but you won't learn much from someone so young, inexperienced and unqualified (no PhD) p.s. this is not out of spite, I received a great mark, but my time and $ was wasted in her course. "ummm" and "like" make up most of her vocabulary. she's ok.
