I'm so glad I had her for social studies! She is awesome. She expects a lot, but she will help in any way possible! I've learned so much about teaching from her class. Field was awesome! It really helps that she is a teacehr in the school where field is held! Take her, you will not be dissapointed!

Comment:

Mrs. Couillard was a great teacher! I didn't always find her lectures interesting, but I did learn a lot from her when it came to creating lesson plans and teaching. She was always willing to go the extra mile to help you out in any way. Also, her quizzes were really easy...even if you didn't read the text. I would take her again in a heartbeat

This class was a waste of time. She was not very clear or helpful with what she wanted out of the assignments. The book is very boring, but the weekly quizzes are easy. Working with the kids was great. You have to work in groups for the fieldwork. My group members were the best part of the class. The midterm was pretty easy also.

Mrs. Couillard was by far one of the best teachers! She is so helpful. Her stories and experiences really help to clarify things and she really cares about her students and understands them. If she taught more classes she would be my first choice by far!

She does come off as a little harsh, but she just wants you to do your best. Make sure you go over your lesson plan for your lead teaching day in great detail with her, because she is pretty picky! Gives you lots of great tips and ideas.

Kathy is a lovely person and great teacher. She seems kind of intimidating at first, but she's really great. Listen to her, she knows her stuff. The lesson plans need detail, but that's so she can be sure you know what you're doing. After all, it's a first semester methods course.

Loved her Class. Great sense of humor, likes it when you crack jokes and make the class fun. Her lesson plans are very detailed but they help you down the road. Grades easier then you think when you get your final grade. Loved the class.
