I had Kristin at the graduate level. Everyone who is negative about Kristin is dead wrong and lacks a brain and ambition. Monaco rocks. ANYONE who wants an easy A shouldn't be in her classes, but then those people will never succeed in life.

Dr. Kristen is a bible of economics. she would give you countless homeworks which would make you grasp the subject. the only problem with her is that she s very moody at times and becomes extremely arrogant...if she does not like you, it would be very obvious and you could feel miserable in her class.. be prepared for this if you take her class.

Dr. Monaco is a good professor and an even better advisor. The people on here who wrote that she is mean and predjudice are just full of bs -- she doesn't treat students of any race disrespectfully at all. The only reason I can imagine she might have been cold is if a student was rude or unprofessional to her. I encourage you to get to know her.

A must take instructor. With her homework alone, you can get by with a "C" which is all I wanted in this class. Ended up with a "B" close to an "A" and honestly started to understand what the heck I was doing. She is super friendly and willing to help. I think a lot has to do with the fact she is young and understands the students.

Monacos class is a very good one, she teaches well ,and her explanations are laymans terms. The only problem with this class is not the Homework (and there is alot of it), or the studying, it's the level of understanding. On the exams she epects you to know the material much in the same way that she understands it. This is whats extremely difficult

This class is no joke, and if taken as a hybrid you will not have much time to study becuase aplia takes a long time and is very boring and not helpful. She is a good teacher and is very helpful always more than willing to help; i well on the tests but not so well on aplia and it lowered my grade a lot. APLIA SUCK!

Monaco is terrible. She will seem nice and joyful, but once you asked her for help, she is a real prick. She screws you on late hw and has exams that have mistakes on them. That really messed me up because I was spending time on trying to find the answer, when it is not even there! I got a bad grad

Very good teacher. Will do anything to help you understand Econonics If YOU ASK!!!!! Very clear in her lectures, but there is a lot of work required therefore a lot of effort. Will make it an interesting class if you truly don't want to take this class.
