Be ready to learn bad/outdated coding practices and be tested on material you were told to skip! Been given a due date? He'll close it early and say you should have started it sooner. Oh and wrong answers are the right answers in this class. Good luck if it's required. Otherwise, don't do this to yourself.

Better in classroom than online. This class relies on notes and video lectures because the professor teaches remotely. He is very nice and I appreciate him for answering my questions, but the video lectures are awful. You can't see what is happening. The software may not even be the version we are using. Exams are the hardest I've ever taken.

Fantastic professor! Focuses on teaching the concepts (says you can google the code, but you have to understand the concept). He does speak a little loud, but he keeps his lectures moving fast-you will not be bored in this class. Very helpful handouts. Honestly, you are almost ready to take cert tests after his adv Java class. Highly reccomend him

This dude is a very able professor. He starts off by teaching you the concept behind the code and that makes all the difference. When something is taught to make sense first, then coding becomes easier. Very articulate considering the accent. I learned alot from this guy that i couldn't learn from Prof. Singh.

i will give an honest rating. He is not easy like other java prof and i dont think he is teaching basic java anymore. The greatest thing about him is that, he KNOWS wat he is teaching. You will never sleep in his class. Tests were multiple choices with open notes (but you have to study) This class is almost like advd Java without Serialization and..

Some complain here. Do not think this course is typing. Java is concepts. You cannot do this course if you do not have a proper background. I enjoyed this course. He is a damn good teacher. He knows his beans and what he is talking about. Worth my money.

Worst programming class ever. Hard to understand his English. Spent most of the class asking others what he was trying to say. First 3 assignments easy then they get harder and he doesn't offer any help. TA's English was even worse to try to understand. Read the book. Unless you already know JAVA prior to this class you probably wont get an A or B.

Ready to take your Java certification!!! He does teach. However, wherever he techs, does not help at all for the six HW through the semester. TA does not help at all, if you speak Indi or their language. You will be fine, so they will help you out for your homework. I do not like how he techs honestly.

Tests are extremely hard but teacher will curve grades. There is a lot of information to cover. I suggest coding program assignments with NetBeans. Program assignments are very time consuming. I recommend starting them as soon as possible.

Speaks very loudly, so sit in the back. The notes he hands out are sometimes great primers for various J2EE topics. However, his multiple choice test questions are frequently misleading. Even worse, some of the questions are WRONG, and he is too closed-minded to accept that possibility. Programming assignments are easy but can be tedious.

You'll never fall asleep in his class. He's very good at explaining object orientation and gives you assignments with real world examples. You learn a lot and his tests can be challenging for the programming part. His Questions to Ponder are the golden egg. Read them, learn them, memorize them.

Difficult to follow and understand. Provides good handouts. Tests were hard and test material included subjects hardly discussed. Grading was curved. Expected students to regurgitate code from memory for a difficult program on final but gave partial credit.
