I can't tell you how much I hate math, but once I stepped into the lecture hall with Mrs. K, I actually enjoyed it. She is so nice, helpful, and explains anything you have trouble with. Her tests come straight from the HW so make sure you do that. The sweetest math teacher you will ever meet, and very easy too!

What a GREAT class! I thought I sucked at math, but she makes everything understandable. If you do the homework and study a little you can definitely pull off an A. She offers about 6-8 bonus pop quizzes too. The tests are not hard, questions are pretty much the same as the study guide questions.

By far the greatest teacher ever. Very energetic and helpful. Willing to help after class. Very nice and honestly cares about all her students. Usually gives out a practice test (very helpful). I failed math in high school but I got 100 percent on all my tests. Gives you examples to understand the material better. RECOMMENDED!

I. Hate. Math. I detest it w/ a passion. My savior comes in the form of Mrs. K. She's a great teacher: great methods, positive attitude, fluid transition between concepts. If math isn't your area of strength, if you fear failing (C,D,F), TAKE HER CLASS. Do ALL the homework, use pretests and it's hard but only miss 2 or less classes.

I've taken her for math 130 fall 2010 & I highly recommend her. There are 4 tests worth 100 points each, it's multiple choice approx 25-30 questions. she tells you exactly what you need to know for the test by giving you examples.Her test are exactly like here examples. Two quizs 20 points each, a final worth 150 point. Tons of xtra credit!!!

Such an amazing professor! I was dreading taking math before the semester started, but she makes it soo easy to understand. She gives a lot of one question bonus quizzes at the beginning of class so make sure to be on time. Hw for each chapter = easy points. Genuinely cares about her students, wants you to succeed. Love her!!

She's very goofy and she makes corny jokes. However, she's a very dedicated teacher and strives to help you out. Make doing homework your priority and take the test reviews seriously to get an easy A. Try not to miss class often. The only bad thing about this class is that she never lets you out early...

Prof. Kaufman by far the best math teacher at OCC it was my second time taking math and i got a B. show up to all classes because she's a speedy but will go over anything needed. You will need the book for hw, test are pretty so so depending on if u did the hw and the practice test she sometimes post online. Very good teacher take her. dont be lazy
