I reccommend this class to English majors. He lectures on a lot of neat and obscure literature. I learned a lot from this class.

This man is out of his mine, lol if you take the class you will understand. However, it is entertaining. This class requires a lot of reading, and a quiz every friday on the reading. Midterm and final are essays. Two 4 page papers. I got an A, and its possible, but you have to do do the reading.

He's a nice guy, but he could be cold and ramble. I understand that this is a 400 level class, but one weekend he gave us 5 homework assignments!!! However, he is very intelligent, knows the material, and he can be very helpful outside of class.

Dr. Caltevedt is extremely nice and I love his sarcastic humor. He knows a lot about literature and you can tell that he has travelled the world. Sometimes his classes are a lot of work, but I really feel that I learn something.

Prof. Caldvedt is a bit strange- eccentric maybe, but a lot of fun! I loved the way that lectures went off topic and rambled- it kept the class interesting. He really loves literature and it shows, he's very interested in what he's teaching. This class made me smile.

This guy is hilarious. He gets off topic so easily and always ends up talking irreverently. There is a lot of homework but it doesn't matter if you get it wrong because it isn't graded but it always shows up on tests.

He's very enthusiastic about what he is teaching and has a very high knowledge of the world. If you like to read and explore writings from other cultures, then this a good class to take.

Great prof. overall! I think he's genuninely interested in the world literature he teaches, and he often goes beyond the literature itself and encourages you to explore the culture behind it. Gets sidetracked during his lectures once in a while, but it's no big deal. Recommended class!
