Mr. Ashworth is not interested in making the class "work" for a grade. In his class two things happen more often than other classes: students can easily get an A and leave understanding the concepts (rare for science courses). He preps for success in the real world. He challenges you to learn, not to get an A. No joke - BEST PROFESSOR I'VE HAD.

Best teacher ever. I'm really sorry to see him go - he was one of the good ones. I'm lucky to have had him for Phys I & II and feel sorry for anyone taking the other professors. He was truly a diamond in the rough!

Great teacher! One of the best I've had. Makes physics interesting b/c he applies it to real life situations and stories.I Feel bad 4 anyone taking physics afer spring 09 symester because he's leaving uhd. Huge loss 2 d physics department b/c the other professors are terrible.

GREAT TEACHER! One of d best @ UHD. Physics is not the easiest subject but he goes out of his way to help u. Lots of HW but not mandatory. He is very helpfull n lab. Powerpoint lecture helps a bunch. He relates physics to real life situations whch helps u understand the concepts better. Lecture is not boring Take him if you plan on passing physics!

AN ABSOLUTE JEWEL!!! Mr. Ashworth is SUCH a gift to UHd. He is passionate about teaching, and how often do you come across that? His lectures are CRYSTAL clear. I took beautiful notes, made A's on all 3 exams - and was EXEMPT from final. (i've heard the final is difficult). He grades SO FAIR, he is so generous and kind. Learned so much..take him!

Absolutely one the best profs at UHD!!! Make learning physics a pleasure. He emphisizes concept over math...but believe me...math is still a big part of the class. Fun, understandable prof and a pleasure to take his class!!!

Mr. Ashworth was an absolute delight to take! I made adjustments to my schedule, just so I could make sure to take part two with him. Very clear, makes things super interesting, funny, very very kind...and A WONDERFUL PROFESSOR. You have to come to class and practice the problems...to get an A. I did it. Take Ashworth.

Awesome professor. I cannot say enough great things about his teaching style. He incorporated algebra and trig into the physics to help you better understand the concepts. Attendance is mandatory! His lectures actually teach you, while the book just confuses. He is funny and interesting. TAKE HIM!

Overall a great physics teacher. The test were not hard if you did all the homework problems. Multiple choice questions can be tricky, but his test reviews were helpful with that. Stresses which concepts you need to understand for the tests. Good sense of humor.
