Comment:

I had Dr B for bio lecture and lab. Her lectures were sometimes unclear and her test questions were worded very tough. Her labs test were easy as all you had to do was read the labs and you would be fine. overall I liked her as a person, very sweet, but I probably would not take her again.

Comment:

I took her for an intro bio class. As a person she is very nice and his always available for extra help. However, she words her tests in a confusing way and sometimes is not very clear during her lectures. Sometimes her lectures seemed to go on forever, but overall she was a decent professor.

Her class is great she explains everything super simple and she is hilarious in class. It's always entertaining so if you can take her for both biology lecture and lab. You won't regret it she doesn't give lots of homework and she keeps the rest simple

Her tests are extremely hard, and her lectures can be all over the place. She only taught half of what she was suppose to, and there is a quiz at the end of each class. Overall, I wouldn't take her again unless necessary.

Very sweet lady. However, her tests are almost impossible for a non-science major. I honestly only made it by because of her labs. Do well on the labs and you'll get by.

Very easy class if you pay attention. DONT buy the textbook, she literally gives you all of the notes you just have to fill them in. Attendance is mandatory because you get an easy quiz at the end of each class.

Professor Baguinon is a very sweet person out of class but gets very frazzled in class. She is poor at time management and only taught about half of the material that we were supposed to learn which made it hard at times during lab. Attend class because you have a quiz every day at the end. Wouldn't take her again unless I absolutely had to...

Dr. B was great! Her test are easy if you study the lecture notes, and her labs are enjoyable, however the lab tests were pretty tough so be aware of that.

Shes a very nice lady but her lectures are killer. They drag on and it is nuts. If you skip class you miss these end of class quizzes for participation. Tests are kinda hard if you dont have the notes. No homeworks ever. Just lectures every class.

She was a wonderful teacher. I never had an interest in biology, but she made it fun and interesting. She also made it easy to understand and gave you enough time to study.

She's such a sweet lady but she isn't clear or helpful. She doesn't post any grades online so it's basically a guessing game all semester. Unless you're really good at bio I wouldn't recommend taking her.

She was an adorable woman and was pretty clear on what she teaches. I found myself getting B's on tests I would usually get D's on. Sometimes the lectures are long, but if you study powerpoint before a test you will do fine. Says textbook is required but I didn't use it the whole semester.

quirky woman. nice but frazzled. all notes are on powerpoint, includes blanks to get you to show up. 1 question quiz at end of every class for attendance purposes, helps grade. class grade sheet showed many 90's and many 60's so it is what you make of it. show up, study the power point and you will do fine. tests are general knowledge of material.

Dr. Baguinon was so funny! I loved her sometimes because of her sense of humor. The Bio lecture felt like forever, even though it was my shortest class. She curves tests to the extreme. Study hard for multiple choice quizzes and you will do fine and get an A.

Very nice lady, knows material and makes it easy to understand. Lectures can be pretty boring and dry at times, but the material is pretty easy. Only has a few tests and no homework, but tests are a little tough if you don't study. Uses daily quizzes (they're easy 1-question ones) to take attendance, so attendance is mandatory. Overall, good prof.

She is very sweet and nice, but isn't great at explaining concepts. However she doesn't go in depth at all so if you aren't into sciences she is perfect. No HW. She provides note outlines so study those before a test since they are a little tough. She tries to be funny but the class can be bland sometimes. Overall super easy class.

Incredibly sweet and surprisingly funny, older woman. English is not her first language but she speaks rather flawlessly with a tiny hint of an accent. Class and lab are both really easy, even if you aren't into Bio. No HW and about 4 tests. I say take her. :)

Comment:

shes funny, caring, and very helpful in lab and in class. She does very thorough explanation of all topics and wants to make sure everyone understands the lecture/topics. Her tests can be hard depending on how much you know/study but she will help you as much as she can if you ask for it.

Comment:

Baguinon is so funny. I had her for lab and lecture. For lab look over your notes an hour before lab and you'll get 100. For lecture, study for an hour the night before the exam, and study another hour before the exam and you'll do fine. Make sure you go to her office hours at least once! She just wants to see if you care about your grade or not.
