Dr. Goodban is awesome! I disagree with the previous comment that she is flaky! She is quite intelligent and very charming, and she knows what she is talking about! She does a great job teaching Fluency and is a credit to her field of expertise!

I LOVE Dr. Goodban! She's so sweet and is always willing to provide extra help. She met with me multiple times when I was considering speech path and she even helped me to plan out all of my classes for my remaining semesters. She made fluency really interesting; my only complaint is that her notes and powerpoints were sometimes unorganized.

Professor Goodban is just a great teacher overall. Her lectures are never dull and she incorporates a lot of fun activities. Sometimes exam questions can be tricky; but, she is so generous with points on other assignments that it hardly matters. Definitely take a class with her if you have the opportunity!

Let me just say that Marjorie is probably THE KINDEST, MOST GENUINE professor at Elmhurst College. She is lighthearted and keeps each class fun--well, as fun as a 3 and a half hour class can be. She sincerely cares about the progress of every single student. Ample opportunities for points and extra credit, but she throws some curveballs in exams.

She had a very tough grading scale, but actually graded very easy. I was not thrilled about this class, but she did a good job of keeping me interested, especially since it was a night class. She was very helpful with my final paper also. Generally a good teacher.
