Dr. Festle is an interesting, engaging teacher who is passionate in her subject matter. She often gives pop quizzes after readings, but as long as you took notes you will be good. All of her exams and quizzes are open note.

Great professor. Really passionate about her topic and always willing to work with student to understand grade and improve for next test. If you want to pass class you must do the nightly readings she usually has a pop-quiz on the reading the next day. Exams are open note which was nice. Really enjoyed class but unclear on what her rubric is.

Super easy class if you do the homework! There are pop quizzes every few classes but they're open note. Also all exams are open note and she usually lets you know in advance what the essay question will be like. Interesting class and nice lady!!

Incredibly organized and intelligent. Loved taking her course because she displayed such a passion and presented the information in an interesting light. She assigns a lot of reading, but it is do-able if you keep up each day. She is a tough grader but definitely worth taking. She has each day laid out with an outline of what will be covered.

She's a tough professor, but she's fair. She grades pretty tough. I had her for the teaching fellows trip of the northeast, which was fun. She requires a ton and a half of reading/writing though, but it's generally on the easy side.

Hard class not going to lie but she is a great teacher. She even makes a subject about oral interesting and displays her passion about the material to the students. ALso a very nice person and very helpful

Dr. Festle is a wonderful professor! She's quite the walking "Webster!" She's passionate about what she teaches and she conveys it in a objective and lucid manner. Worth the $25K!
