Her lectures are long and pretty dry, but she knows what she is talking about and is good at making sure that you understand the material. She runs a flipped classroom, so all of the homework is new information, but she covers it in class the next day. A lot of people do not like her at first, but she is kind and funny if you get to know her.

If you are interested in having a solid understand of economics take Lewis because she will prepare you to continue in the major. If you are only planning on taking economics 111, I would take someone else because she gives you a heavy homework load. I think most people grow to like her more as the class goes on.

Marge is an awful teacher. She will go on and on in class, regardless if you understand the material. Her homework is very hard and often not covered in the class. Her lectures will put you to sleep.

Marge is a great lady with great intensions. She is definitely a bit odd though. She has lots of homework and worksheets and is very nit picky about instructions. Recently, I've found her to be quite humorous. She laughs at herself a lot and I think its funny. Lectures are long and really boring but they are useful. Go to the review sessions!!

I had her on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and it was horrible! Her lectures are long and boring, and she doesn't give any breaks. She just keeps going and going. It was difficult to stay awake in class. Expect tons of homework each class. The nice thing is that she grades on completeness, not correctness. Don't take if you can avoid her.

She follows a lecture each class and seems to only know how to teach the information on the powerpoint. If you ask for real world examples, or something that relates to a problem she won't be able to think of one. Other than that the homework is clear and assigned on a consistent basis and easy to figure out with your textbook.

AWFUL. Avoid her if you can... her instructions are unclear, expectations high, and her projects are difficult to say the least. If you don't learn well on your own.. good luck. Her lectures are, however helpful, and you do learn a fair amount, but the course and text are confusing.

TERRIBLE! Do not take her if you can avoid it. I dreaded class everyday. She wrote the textbook herself and it's about as useless as her monotone, unbearable lectures in class.

Very interesting topic, but prof makes everything VERY boring. VERY ineffective teaching style-makes it hard to learn. Bad public speaker-sits cross legged on table and reads from power point. Soft spoken, monotone, and talks for 70 min straight every class. Little student interaction.Unclear on class objectives and assignments. Not recommended!

Not very nice, not very clear, but you do learn some stuff. Bad attitude and seems to be proud of the fact that she lets you out 3+ minutes late almost every day.

She gets a bad rep but the class really isn't that bad. Unlike a certain Chuck Rambeck, you'll actually learn something from her. She's pretty nice, but demanding, yet still fair. Not as bad as people say.
