Very dry lectures. Hard to understand what he's saying. Reads from his notebook entire class. Doesn't have clear answers to any questions. His final consisted of 5 questions worth 20% of overall grade. Doesn't seem to care about the students taking his class.

"You should know this from the compiler design." Expect to hear that a lot, and expect to fail miserably. Loves to punish everyone on the tests when people don't come to class. Tests are straight up impossible.

His accent made some of the lectures hard to understand, but the notes/examples make up for it. His tests are pretty easy, you just need to really study the notes from class. I wouldn't take him again, but then again, I'm a comm major.

I took his summer course. Examples were great and labs were easy. He does have a thick accent, but you can understand him. Very helpful if you have questions or problems. I would recommend for this class.

He told us 4 days before the final that it would be WRITTEN. This is not good, because we didn't do any writing of programs(the computer always points out mistakes)I would have had an A,now with my 41% final, I have a C. He did this because some people didn't come to labs regularly he said. A**hole.

Teaches okay, english is so-so. gives out powerpoint notes(good notes) but does a bit of double dealin...get help, but no one can help you...you should go to labs and just try to do it on your own, no help, but you should still get it done. if you do get them done though you will get 100% watch 4 0s

If you have done proofs before this class should be very easy. Although, for first timers this can prove to be a difficult class. Take notes and study them for the quizes and exams. Meet with people that understand the content.

Gives perfect grades on all labs and nearly all homeworks, which makes class easy. Tests are pretty simple, but he'll throw in a couple tricky problems in on each of them. Show up and pay attention and it'll be a breeze.

He talks kinda like yoda saying things like "When making the code you are". Hard to understand, all in all "garbage". He claims his tests have no tricks but then says "the trick to this one was...." so he basically lies.

He has a tendancy to go crazy with his accent, or abuse the english language! But, he teaches SYNTAX, which is crucial for beginner programmers not familiar with the theories and how the code works. Follow his examples, come to class and you'll do FINE!

I don't know when these other kids took him, but this year, he sucked. His examples didn't work, he can't speak english, and he makes us pay for his mistakes. He took off 45 points for a minor mistake on my homework ( and it really was MINOR)
