I just finished my MHA classes and Mel is by far my favorite Prof. Mel taught me more that any other Prof. has taught me at OCC! If you are intersted in Social Work and/or counseling Mel is the Prof. you want to take!!

I have taken Mel for both of my MHA class and have learned so much from him in both semesters. I would recommend that anyone interested in taking MHA to do so while he is still teaching because he plans to retire soon. He is very understand and will work with you if you need extra help. I found the classes to be easy (do have to put in time).

Wonderful wonderful teacher. I have learned so much with Mel. I am able to take what he has taught me and apply to my own life when it comes to dealing with my own children. It has been helpful at work and my internship. When ever I am in doubt of something I just think back to something Mel has said your taught me and it works.

Everything you hear about mel is true, and everything you hear about Gail is true. The difference is that I'm in the real world now and I use TWICE as much information I recived from Gail then Mel. We all love him and he teaches some awesome stuff....Gail is a pain but you WILL learn to love her too. ( be open minded)
