The best lecturer I ever had, hands down. Her class requires a lot of attention to get a passing grade. You must attend, take notes, and study. If you don't, you will not have a chance. But, once you complete her class, and you pass, you know you can manage any class. Absolute great Professor!!

For each one of you who say Dr. Jones was too hard think again. Yes, she will be the hardest instructor you will EVER have. However, if and only if you allow yourself to learn her methodology she will prepare you for learning at a 4 year university. It is because of her that I went on to get my PhD.

i loved her class, shes funny and tries to make the subject matter as interesting as it can be. there is one HUGE paper, but she gives you the entire semester to do it and walks you through each step making it really easy. you need the book, there is one quiz a week.

her teaching was interesting. just write notes on whatever she's talking about. quizzes are easy, but don't procastinate on the 16pg. essay. that was what lowered my grade down. and her test aren't really that hard. just need to read the textbook.

Weekly quizzes, 2 tests, 16 page paper, and 1 final. That's your grade. Very, very hard teacher. She is very smart, and has a PhD. Really nice, sweet, and funny sometimes. I don't know whether to say you should take her or not, but I'm telling you now, prepare for a challenge!

She loves teacher history so if you are super interested in history, take her. But if you just gonna take the class just cuz its require NO DONT TAKE HER. Quiz every week. Only 2 tests, each is very BIG and HARD. One project and its ridiculous. I had to drop that class after my first test :[

Prof. Jones loves history and whoever is planning to major and history or is extremely interested in the subject should definately take her class. Her class is definately loaded with weekly assignments and quizzes. If you don't keep up with the material you will not pass her class. By the end of mid semester the class was down to 1/2 the size.

She thinks the class is harder than it is. You have to read the textbook but its only took me 2 hours a week. She gives you the quiz questions ahead of time and the topics of her exam questions. yeah, there's a paper, but she's crystal clear on what to do. It's a little work but not ridiculous. And she'll always answer your questions so ask them.

Most difficult class I have ever taken in community college but somehow....well worth the challenge. I second the opinion of those who warn not to take this class if you've got a full semester/or a job. She is very clear of what she expects, knowledgeable, receptive, fair with an awesome sense of humor....

I loved her. She wasn't hard, just wanted a little effort from the student. All you had to do was listen, take notes, and do the readings. Quizzes and tests were a breeze. The only thing that was a pain was the research paper (16 pages) but she gave us plenty of time to work on it. Being me, I waited until the last day but still managed an A.

LOVE her!!! I took her for two history classes. She makes you write a 15 page essay but it makes all my other essays at Sac State seem like a breeze now! Very intelligent and her lectures are interesting! Study for the tests and you should do fine!

Her teaching style is very boring and almost monotone. Don't sit in the back of the class because you will never hear her. Readings are mandatory and her entire class takes up much of your time. Do not take this class if you have a full schedule and work full time. Weekly quiz based upon readings from two textbooks.
