I love Mona...she works with you one on one. I wanted to quit on an exam and she had me stay to think things through instead of giving up. If math is not your subject, take her!!

Comment:

Mona was a great teacher. She was very clear and went out of her way to help out those who had any problems. She insisted on people asking questions or for help if they had any problems. Syllabus was laid out perfectly. I'm horrible at Math, but by the end of the semester I went from a 65% on the first test to an 85% on my final. Mona is great!

Comment:

Lectures were mandatory attendence, recitations were not. She explains things pretty clearly and is understanding if someone is having trouble with a concept. Optional homework, but it can be helpful and she offers ample opprotunity to bring up problems you had difficulty with.

She was very practical. She understood that we all were taking the class because we had to, which is probably very hard to teach with that level of enthusiasm and interest from your students. She changed the course so we only met once a week, but for longer, which was easier for everyone involved.

She is a really nice, funny, and helpful teacher. She really knows the information and how to relay it to the students. She also gives HW that helps you b/c she collects it. I highly recommend.
