This man is the most sarcastic and blunt professor I have ever had. The class is almost all speeches and the days that it is not are awful. You have to spend 3 whole hours listening to him ramble on about random irrelevant things. If you don't show up or leave halfway through class he will purposely give out participation points to everyone there.

For summer classes, anticipate a lot of work that is reasonably easy. The class is only difficult if you do not pay attention to what he asks for. All of your assignments are laid out for you in the syllabus, so you can follow that to know what to expect. All tests are take home. Strict on MLA format. Everyone improved by end of class

Professor Moylan is a good professor. Hes a little on the sarcastic side but hes approachable and able to give advice if needed. The class is based on speeches and take home quizzes. Would recommend this professor.

Professor Moylan is honestly my favorite professor ever by far. If you pay attention to what he wants in the speeches, you will be fine. He is a tough grader though, so prepare to put in the effort. His humor is very dry and sarcastic, so if you get your feelings hurt easily, don't take him. Ultimately, do what he asks and you will pass.

Moylan was such a wonderful professor! I picked him because of his great reviews & it was true! Eveythings outlined & easy to follow. Make sure to write in MLA including title &work cited. You will, unfortunately, need to book because you will have to create chapter questions for some mod assignments. Easy A if you follow his outline! Take him!

I definitely recommend this professor for speech class. For me this class was intimidating & challenging but he helps by giving great feedback. Start early on your speeches & practice! He gives about four take home quizzes with essay questions but they are not bad at all. Quiz questions are straight from the book.

He's a pretty good teacher with interesting stories and decent lectures. Honestly, don't fear your speeches and presentations. Just be confident and speak well. The only homework you get are the speeches and a couple take home quizzes here and there.

Mr. Moylan knows his stuff! He is a great teacher. His lectures are informative and I have learned a lot from him. I was terrified to take this class, as I do not like to speak in front of people. He has given me the skills to overcome this fear and I have excelled. Be prepared to work. Research, practice, and attend class. You will do great!

he is a picky grader, nice to talk to, if you skip you will fail, speech day makes everyone in the class nervous but every student has to do it so no one will judge you, you get to pick your speech topics with certain guidelines on day where there are no speeches he talks forever there are take home quizes no in class tests/exams only take home

Grade consists of speeches, quizzes and a take home final. I found this instructor to be very unclear with what he wanted and was graded harshly for missing things that were not covered well enough. Inflexible with assignments. Would not recommend.

He is the worst teacher I've ever had. He doesn't care about emergencies or that his instructions are conflicting but expects you to get it right anyway. Very sarcastic and rude. You'd be better of going with a different teacher.

WORST TEACHER EVER!!! I don't really care for speech class because due to anxiety but decided to try it out using my all! Failed a speech I hadn't even had the chance to present. I failed because I wasn't in class due to illness.. He gives you one hands even if you aren't there to take it!! He makes racial slurs to be funny. He gives no motivation.

Moylan is a great professor, he expects you to do your work and do it well. Very good with feedback and letting you know what to do and how to do it. Very funny and tends to pick on certain kids but he never does it in a cruel way. Very smart and fun professor.

Its all fun and gamess with him. If u tell him u have a problem he tells u its not his and offers no help. Also has the most messed up grading in any class ive taken. Makes u rip ur classmates and marks u down if u dont.WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD. Im being 100% honest

I am glad that I chose Mr. Moylan for this class. He is an excellent teacher. You get out of his class what you put in. This isn't high school, you are expected to do your work. Mr. Moylan is a down to earth guy, but he does take the content of the class very seriously, and expects the same from his students. He is also able to make the class fun.

He's a nice guy, but his grading is severely messed up. I had bad speech anxiety in high school, but I gave it my all for this class. Still I felt burned by his grade despite my effort. Also he needs to realize that 4chan isnt funny.
