The man is Physics genius but he has a hard time teaching. Completely disconnected from his students. He shows up, reads from the powerpoint and thats it. I went to his office hours 3 times a week for about a month but they were not helpful at all. Has a bit of an attitude during office hours if he explains something and you still dont get it

Comment:

This is already a diffiuclt topic for most people, 1260 is a lot harder than 1250. It is hard to understand a lot of the things he is saying. Tests are all curved, but exams are difficult with only 20 questions. If you are good at physics class shouldn't be hard but if you need more explanation than choosing someone else would be beneficial.

If you can just use google for most of the class, then you can get an easy A, and one tip, you don't even need to show up for class, except for the tests, you can practically use textbook and google to get an easy A.

Alright so here is the deal if you are not willing to put in effort don't take his class. If you complete all of the homework and do decent on the exams you will definitely get a AB. Dr. Li Curves the final by a land slide and the final it's 60% of the grade. He also curves the homework points and practically all of the question are on GOOGLE!

I took physics in high school and I though my teacher there was bad. However this guy takes the cake. I cant understand a word he is saying during class and when you ask him a question, he doesn't understand what you say. The homework he gives us is impossible and he doesn't teach you whats in the homework. Avoid at all costs.

RUN, RUN FAR FAR AWAY! The man can not speak english. It is painful. I never went to class... sat at home and taught myself through the online homework and guessed on the tests and made it out with a B. But that was self taught... note card on tests is helpful but thaaaaaats about it.

Worst teacher EVER. He should not be allowed to teach. I did the work and studied and I'm still failing. He doesn't help at all when you go to him with questions. Avoid taking his class at all costs!

Not a bad guy on a personal level; as a prof. he reads from powerpoint slides and does NOT do the subject of physics justice. Not a difficult course if you have seen physics before in high school. I sympathize with those who are new to physics, but if there's a prof. in the physics department that will give you an "easy A" it'll be Li.

Pretty good physics professor. He is a little hard to understand at first, but you get use to his accent. He gives study guides for the tests, which is awesome. They really help out. Pay attention and do the homework and you will do fine!

Very helpful professor. Weekly webassign homework. The tests come straight from the homework, in chapter exercises and the notes. His english is very good and he uses printed overheads that are easy to read and understand
