Comment:
He is completely unclear in almost every thing we do in class and out of class. He also does not explain what he wants in or out of class. He teaches a Intro class at a level way above what it should be. The expectation of what he expects you to learn and to write your speeches at is ridiculous. Final advice, find another professor that will teach!

Comment:
Clark is unclear about what he wants and his expectations are WAY too high for intro classes. I had an "intro" level speech with him and it was by far the hardest class I have. He thought he was challenging us but it's way unreasonable level work.

He is horrble. He never explains what he exactly wants for your speeches and they are hard topic for beginning speech. i would take someone else if you want an easy a because you wont get it from him

Comment:
Dr. Clark taught senior seminar and it wasn't easy, but it was very, very helpful in terms of assignments and class discussions. There are no tests, but several assignments throughout the semester, with a big final research paper that is a quarter of your grade. As others have said, he's difficult to read at times, but generally very nice.

This professor has done the best he could with what he had to work with. He's a really nice guy, and very understanding if necessary. He's a little difficult to read at times, but he has no problem answering questions without making you feel like a fool. The class itself has a few kinks that need to be worked out, but Dr. Clark is great.

Dr. Clark is an incredible professor. It is not a cakewalk, but he pushes his students to learn. He utilizes different teaching methods that helps the material to become clear. If you would like to understand what it means to be a student, I would encourage taking any of his classes. You will leave the class understanding the material covered.

He's an okay professor. we have to do a semester long service learning project, and that's a pretty big grade, but pretty easy too, what sucks is that he makes you write pointless assessments about random stuff. I don't know that I'd take him again, but then again, I don't know who else teaches it

Nice helpful teacher, high expectations, but lets you rewrite and turn in assignments again for better grade. He wants to help, but you have to help yourself first. Make an effort, if not, could be a hard class. Very detail oriented. Allows 10 absences, but make sure you get notes and write down the examples he talks about!!!

good guy, but tests are pretty hard. gets almost all of his questions from the book so you gotta read or just be really good at looking at an index. service learning project is fun but he swears you'll love prjects after his class, which is funny because they are even worse.

Very engaging lectures, nice presentations. The service learning project was a waste of time, but the online quizzes helped me with the mid and final because I took each quiz about 20 times to pass it. Didn't use his CD and that's probably why I got a C, because I didn't give his material the time it deserved. Takes attendance.

The service learning project was pretty cool, i really enjoyed it. Quizzes were pretty useless because nothing in them helped me on tests. I did get them all taken and made a 90+ on all of them, but they were difficult. Good teacher, but uses webct, that sucks.

Service learning project, BS. unnecessary work. 5 quizzes that count for 1.5 letter grade. have to pass 1st quiz with a 90 to get to the 2nd, and so on.. BS. Have to buy CD published by him. $50.00. non refundable. whole book on cd.. DONT TAKE HIM!!

Do not at all cost take this man. He takes attendence everyday, his test and quizes do not come from the lectures. I would advocate to send him back to calli but thats just me. He is mad at the world for paying to much for his subs.

Norman is a nice guy and isn't bad on the eyes, though I didn't really think of him as "hot." I missed several class meetings and still managed to get an A. He's not THAT difficult, but he does challenge you to THINK. And you do have to WORK for the grade.

pretty nice guy. not easy, not hard. study some before the tests (all mult choice, even the final), talk in class, just do the work and you're golden. not a demanding class. there is attendance policy.

I also don't know what yall' are talking about. I have had Norman Clark 3 semesters and yes, he is challenging. I learned more in his classes then in the entire department and I learned how to be an adult with service learning projects. He is very helpful and hilarious...pay attention and remember you are in college to learn...not sail through.
