Awful. Such a bad professor. Does not help students and does not teach. He simply writes problems on the board and solves them. You cannot understand him because of his accent. Do not take a class from him.

Easy class if you can learn the material/teach yourself. 10 point online hw assignments for almost every class. only 10 short questions. Can sometimes be confusing, and talks quietly, but the online hw website can teach you a lot too. Good at calc or math in general or teaching yourself - easy a. 3 tests & a final.Can skip one question on each test

Had for business calc, half the class dropped. Have to apply yourself out of class and get help at MARC. Don't expect sympathy or help, comes in does examples on the board without even making eye contact. Good at math doesnt mean he should teach it!! AHH

Daya is very hard to understand at first. The first exam is tough because you are probably still getting used to him, but after that it's a breeze. He goes slow enough to give you time to digest the material.

I had Business Calc with him and I didn't enjoy it at all. He doesn't do a very good job at explaining things and he has a very thick accent. I wouldn't recommend him as a professor if you want to learn. However, his class wasn't too hard.

He is very difficult to learn anything from. He will go over a simple thing 10 times, but then breeze over a difficult topic. If you try to ask him a question, he never understands what you are asking and answers a different question. Not helpful and practically impossible to get 100%, even on the homework with should be relatively easy.

He is easy if you have taken calc before but if not do not get him. He is very difficult to understand and does not even know anyones names by the end of the semester. he is worthless to teach, I learned from the book and webassign, not from him. AVOID. I worked hard and got a B-

Thick accent...difficult to understand at first. You get used to it. At first it may appear that what he is doing on the board is confusing...once you get used to it...its the clearest thing ever. He is an excellent teacher, but sometimes difficult to understand. I recommend you take notes, ask questions, and in general participate. Easy A.

Super easy class if you want an easy A for Calculus.He takes his time to make sure that you understand the materials.All tests and quizes are from previous assignment. If you do what he assign, there should be now way that you didn't pass the class with an A, those who does poorly are the ones who that never come to class.

He has a very thick accent and goes through material pretty quickly. Class consists of every other day quizzes and him working through problems on the board. It is rather boring and hard to focus. Homework is not graded but it helps prepare you for the quizzes/tests. Most quiz/test questions are taken right out of the book.

Avoid. If you've taken calc before, you'll do fine. If you struggle with math like me, avoid this guy at all costs. I failed a quiz, asked him for help during office hours; and he replied thta I should go to the academic disabled office. I dropped the class later that day. Find a professor who actually cares...

Great Prof! Nice guy and kinda funny. Tests are easy as they can be for a calc class. He doesn't speak the best English but you can always entertain yourself by counting how many times he says, "isn't it."

The most frustrating class I have ever taken. I couldn't understand a word he said the entire time and had to teach myself the entire semester. If you haven't taken calc before you will be spending most of your time in the math lab like I did. Do not recommend whatsoever

Can't really say i learned much cause i took Calc in H.S. But if Bus. Calc is a requirement and you're just taking him to get it out of the way -- DO IT. Do homework every once in a while and do practice tests (MaRC has the answers). **Also - He's hilarious.

Professor Daya was a great teacher. He makes jokes and he has weird little things he does, but thats the things that make him great. Do the homework and the practice tests, because the questions on the test are the same thing as the questions on the practice tests, but with different numbers or a slight difference in wording.
