Comment:

The perfect choir director! (At least for Chapel Choir.) He takes whomever is interested, pushes them all to do their very best, and makes it into a presentable choir. It's a small challenge, but it's very low-key and low-pressure. He's also been very flexible and understanding with students who need to miss a practice.

Comment:

He's a really great professor! I would never think I would grow such admiration towards someone like him. He really cares about his students and tends to their needs when it comes to ear training and even other music courses outside of his class. I really recommend for any music student to take classes with him. BTW, he's an awesome organist!

Smart man, nice man, good organist, bad music history teacher. If you like a teacher that reads to you right out of the book, and then makes you do the same reading for homework, go to him. Otherwise, he's a very intersting man, but a bad music history professor. It's history, make it interesting
