I'm so glad I chose this professor. I had him in the summer and he was super lenient graded on a curve. We even went on a flippin field trip to Akron Gorge. This dude is the bomb.

a really nice professor! He doesnt want to see anyone fail, a VERY big curver and drops the lowest of the first three tests! Book is extremely helpful, be sure to attend class!

He is a nice guy. He is the typical geologist and really enjoys his field. He tries for the sake of students who are taking the class for an LER to make it as painless as possible. Informative and helpful. Drops one test grade. Willing to let you make up or turn in late if good excuse. Recommend him as a teacher. Easy science LER.

Nice guy, likes what he teaches. He tries his hardest to make it overly easy for the many people who don't want to be there. I have missed quite a few classes (if you miss, make sure to read) but if you attend, everything on the test is in your notes. He has no final, just four tests drops the lowest of the first three. Easy A!

THIS GUY IS THE FREAKING BOMB!!! test level is easy if you take notes and attend class like you're supposed to.Big curver ;) which is very good AND he drops the lowest grade of the first 3 exams.Very funny when lecturing if you keep your mind open. easy LER

Exams are very frustrating. He changes his testing style throughout the course. Attendance will help you. Also, do the extra credit! Personally, he's a very sweet man and quite understanding. Professionally, he doesn't have control of the class and actually lets the students walk all over him. Expect cell phones rining and people talking constantly

i really liked this guy; genuinely nice and willing to help. gives lots of extra credit. he loves his work and it shows...BUT lectures were kind of boring sometimes. then again, it IS earth dynamics, ie not quite so dynamic to some; not his fault though

Typical Geologest. Beard, flannal shirt, slide shows,(nap time) and he actually loves the stuff! Did a good job teaching but test preparation was tough. The review days and big curves helped 80%+=A
