He has a very colorful personality and lifstyle, but he is a good teacher. He does work with you and your work is more based on completion than content. I would definitly recommend him.

Dr Bishop is seriously the most impacting professor I've ever had. His lessons apply to school but apply to your life more, which is awesome. I've changed the way I live my life because of this course. The class is pretty easy. He gives lots of time to complete assignments. I definitely recommend him to anyone. He is hilarious! Taking him again!

I will have to say he is a really nice guy, as far as his teaching... not so nice. This class was boring, and he was very unclear about what needs to be done, when it's due, and he take forever to grade. I actually dropped this class due to lack of structure.

Awesome professor! He really knows his stuff, very intelligent. He challenges you to keep an open mind and brainstorm. He places you in alpha groups to expand your mind with your classmates. The time for his tests are limited and papers are fairly graded. Overall a good professor!

Beware if you do not attend class he will call you on your cell phone and ask why you're not there. He is just an okay professor. However, he does not explain the assignments well and he is very forgetful. I can't imagine that it would be "hard" to pass his class...just an annoying process.

He is a really interesting guy. The expectations are kind of confusing but you can turn in work late without a penalty. The class discussions are really engaging and it really made me think about my life and the world both inside and outside the classroom. I would def recommend him to people who speak their mind and like to engage in conversations

First class since tenth grade that I actually had to think in. I learned a great deal, including how to explain my weird connections and ideas, which he loves. There is a lot of reading and note taking, but well worth it because it makes his lectures more enriching. As long as you attend class, participate, and read you will learn a lot and succeed

Best Valencia Professor ever!. Keep in mind that you need to think out of the box and keep an open mind. Lots of reading is required. He's very helpfull and open to strange ideas and thoughts. To get an A, Participate, Participate, Patticipate. If you are shy and quite he won't notice your efforts. Be open to anything.

Dr. P is a really cool professor. makes things interesting but you really need to keep on top of your work. Lots of little but easy assignments. Tests are short multiple choice with an essay(done at home). Pay attention in class and give your assignments a quick look over before the test and you will do fine.

He is a character! He is not too clear on his assignments, but you can always resubmit them later. He accepts late work, which makes it harder to turn things in on time. Be sure to pay attention in class because he will call on you randomly. I thought this class was boring, but I never liked humanities.

I took him for Honors 20th Century, and it's really not a hard class. Don't text in class. As long as you do the reading and take notes based on his outline, the tests should be a breeze. He's not always clear on due dates; you might have to ask him more than once. He accepts everything late and almost never penalizes you. He's a good guy, take him

Very, very easy. The hardest thing you will do in this class is figuring out what he wants you to do. He is very unclear on what to do for assignments and due dates. However, he will let you turn in things late. A word of advice: when doing book notes, follow the study guide. If you do that, you will know what's on the test.

DEFINITELY TAKE HIM. Unless you want it easy. Then don't. But if you want to LEARN about art and learn to think outside the box, have fun and take good ol' Phil!
