Overall good teacher. Useless in lab sessions - you're basically on your own. Lectures are easy to follow and understand. I'm perhaps one of the few who doesn't like his sense of humor.

He is an amazing teacher, that loves his job. He will help you whenever you ask him for help. You can even ask him questions about other classes/subjects and he will help out if he can, or he will tell you where to go to look for help. Excellent at explaining his subjects that he is teaching.

I hope you're lucky enough to have Mr. Gallant as a professor. He really seems to love his job, and he definately knows his stuff. Ask him anything, and if he doesn't know it (rare), he'll find out for you. I also hear that he's a swell guitar player.
