I am usually making films with actors so I took this class to get some experience on the other side (acting). Richard was very helpful when he taught this class. I never realized how much really goes into acting. Great class!

Hist of theater and playwrights class both were enjoyable and informative. I was not a theater major, and Richard was still nice to me. A stand-out professor in my life. Thanks, Richard!

Comment:

History of Theater, Richard is the best professor I've had at keeping you awake and interested in the class. In a hot room, he'll crack a window to keep the nap environment out. Really amusing classes and extremely good at answering any questions you have. Just don't buy the text; it will never be read. OH and 2 10 pg papers but good anyway.

This man is easily the worst human being I have ever met. Expect that he won't think twice about totally screwing you over, especially if it means securing a special opportunity for one of his spoiled favorites. He will hold you accountable for his own mistakes and will lie to you. Avoid him.

I took this class to fill a requirment and it was the best class ever! I had fun, learned a ton and got a 4.0. Do the work, show up, exams are EASY!! He is a blast and cares about all students that care about the class not just the major.
