Comment:

The class is super easy. He posts all the notes but you have to fill in the blanks on the notes and other than a few tests all you have to do is a 3 part project. The tests are all multiple choice and are easy if you pay attention. He is a really nice guy, gives a few opportunities for extra credit and, can help a lot if you go to office hours.

Comment:

Really this class is only attendance, tests, and a research paper. He does give extra credit though, and its super easy to receive. He was always so cute coming into class, he gave off grandpa vibes and it would make me and my friends happy because he would come in with his wheely brief case. Attendance is mandatory because you have to sign in.

Comment:

An average professor. MUST go to class or you wont pass, wont help you with what you miss if you do miss class. Some lectures were interesting and others were quite boring. Grade is solely based off of 4 exams so make sure to do well on those! They get harder as you progress.

Comment:

Robyn is a great and knowledgeable professor. Easy class, be sure to print out fill in the blank notes and follow along in class and studying for the exams should be relatively easy. Two letters and a research paper are the only assignments aside from exams, attendance taken each lecture, extra credit given for showing proof of voter registration.

Very nice guy. Professor Robyn makes his lectures interesting and always incorporates current politics to illustrate his point. As long as you take diligent notes during class and study them, you will easily pass.

One of my favorite professors! Incredibly funny and knowledgeable and he gives great feedback if you go to him for help or with questions.

It's a lecture class so obviously come prepared to listen. Lectures are unbelievably long and boring. Attendance is just an attendance sheet so if you miss and have someone else sign your name you're fine

Cool professor and very knowledgeable. Pretty good at remaining unbiased in his political opinions but leans a little left. I was very much interested in politics so I hardly took notes and still did well.

Great professor defiantly knows what he is talking about. Lectures the entire time and get boring but take good notes and study your notes and will get an A

Robyn makes this courses much harder than it needs to be. Be prepared for writing lengthy research papers that will only amount to 15 points. Robyn is very stereotypical, and will not go in depth during his lectures. It's safe to say I learned nothing I didn't already know about American Politics. Makes multiple mistakes with his grading.

He's a nice guy. I thought the class (American Politics) could have been more detailed and nuanced; it kinda felt like a high school class. You don't need the book. He'll work with you if you need help or made a mistake. "Mandatory attendance" but I missed more than you're allowed and it didn't count against me, probly cause it was a large class.

He's an incredibly tough grader since he used to teach English. I really didn't learn much, didn't like the class, and didn't use the book at all. I wouldn't recommend it.

This class was great and loved the professor! Pretty boring topics but he kept them interesting and light. Very few tests but a lot of extra credit opportunities! Would take his class again.

Comment:

Awesome professor. As long as you come to class you can pass and make sure you pay attention. Even when he rambles. Super funny and really polite. He'll talk to you outside of class if you need to talk to him. However, there is only a few test, but plenty of extra credit. Really helps when you have other classes and/or work to worry about.

Nice guy, easy grader, understanding of student needs/concerns, lectures aren't super interesting but I learned a lot. He likes to leave out a lot of information for students to look up on their own time outside of class, which is unfair for students who attend class regularly. His tests are easy and he's an easy grader. TEXTBOOK WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!

I had him for American Politics and his lectures were long but he made jokes along the way to keep us entertained. He gave a ton of extra credit and his notes are online. I would deff take him again!!

He was a great professor. When you show up to class on time, and take notes, you'll easily pass the tests. He also offers extra points which helped me secure my A for the class. The textbook isn't mandatory if you show up to class; I only cracked it open to help me clarify some things, this can be done on line. I plan to be in his future classes.

Great professor! Extremely knowledgeable. Class is relatively easy, just show up, pay attention, and take good notes. Exams are usually based solely off notes. Attendance is a small portion of the overall grade.
