Lacks people skills. There were 8 people in my class and he didn't know anyones name. He yelled at a girl for not knowing the answers. He isn't very helpful. His notes our right out of the book and he doesn't do very many examples.

Ivigorates the mind. Especially helpful when you ask the right questions. Leaves the work for to wrestle. Has command of where the subject has been and where it may go. TAKE HIS CLASSES AND BECOME ENLIGHTENED!!!

I had him for 437 as well. Brilliant man and a little different but an excellent teacher. I suspect that those on here that had him for Calc I or II just wanted to skate through without learning anything. In that case dont take his classes. if you actually want to learn and don't mind thinking for yourself his classes are great.

Excellent teacher. He gives take home exams for higher level courses. If you can't pass a take home examination you might wanna rethink how much effort you are putting into the class. Yes the professor is crazy, but that's why I love him. Is more than willing to assist you during office hours. Yes he is smart and he knows it, he IS better than you!
