He is a super nice and caring man, but he is extremely unorganized. We barely had to do anything because our class just wasn't a priority so easy A, but didn't learn much. He is good to know and is worth taking if you can roll with the punches.

Dr. Sturr was a wonderful professor! His class was laid back, and he was very helpful if you ever needed something explained. He encourages you to get deeper into the discussion of the novels/plays/short stories you read. Great Prof!

It wasn't a very organized class, but that's what made it amazing; you could help to set the direction of where the lecture will go. Very pleasant, humorous, and is very reasonable with his expectations---he realizes that students have lives outside of college and other priorities and works with you to balance them.

I took FYE with Dr. Sturr and it wasn't very organized,but it was enjoyable. We mostly discussed issues with school in class with him and he was very understanding to our problems, and helped us when we needed it.

This class was half online half in class cuz it was summer. Rob was so helpful! i hate writing and have had to take stretch classes and barely passed but this was the easiest writing class of them all! he gives you interesting subjects for your papers which really help cuz i hate writing about useless subjects. take him if you have the chance!

Excellent professor, and wonderful person. He can motivate just about anyone with his intelligence and passion. He is always available and extremely helpful, academically, professionally, and personally. He goes above and beyond for anyone, and will challenge your mind and your limits, to make you a better writer, thinker, and person.

Such an amazing teacher. Great class discussions, good reading selections. He allows you to free your mind and always encourages new ideas. Very hard grader, but if you go to office hours, you'll do ok and your writing will definitely improve
