I don't know what everybody's fuss about Rod is, he's not that great of a professor. He'll say you did something wrong, but rarely takes the time to explain how to fix it, which is key when learning how to direct film. He is also a bit temperamental at times. Take another prof for Comm 345!

Rod is a lot of fun and is a great professor for hands on classes. He's clearly not that comfortable in a classroom setting, but his humor gets you through the lectures. A great guy and a great prof.
