Comment:

I took this class a year ago but I remember there were 2 exams worth a lot of points. Both exams had to be proctored. I don't remember the exams being very hard but you still have to understand statistics. We also had a tough paper to write and an assignment to. Class was poorly organized and both exams had to be taken around Thanksgiving time.

I had to take his class TWICE because my midterm and final were lost in the mail. After emailing him over a year without a response the Incomplete I received became an F and I retook the class. I got over 90% in all but one assignment and only got a B in the class. Now filing a complaint.

What I loved about Dr. Sinclair's class is that he makes the difficult material so relatable to his students. there is no homework or assignments, other than the 3 exams, and though they cover a whole lot of material, he is very fair with his grading. I studied hard for the exams, paid attention, and got an A :)

ALWAYS late to class which is only a bit over an hour long (then he teaches at super speed to cover the material), overwhelming amount of information for each test, impossible to get a hold of, posted resources on the moodle page only for the first exam, then he stopped. Take this course with someone who actually has the time to teach it.

Dr. Sinclair is a great instructor. The text for the class is difficult to read, but the teacher is the best resource you have. He's really friendly and gives great lectures. He expects a lot of work in the class, but he teaches really well.

This class is extremely difficult but he does the best he can to keep it interesting and understandable. Tests are hard and the final is cumulative. Grade is dependent on tests only. Dr. Sinclair is easy to talk to so ask a lot of questions. And take very good notes!

For the Deaf Studies majors, this class is a breath of fresh air. Wish there were more classes like this. Dr. Sinclair is simply the best. Period.

The questions on test are long which makes them confusing. He is usually late because of department meetings and makes students wait for him; longest wait 45 minutes. Class is only and hour and fifteen. Includes information not necessary for the test. Not happy but he's the only teacher for this class.

This class was the toughest class I have taken so far. Dr. Sinclair is tough but fair. Getting a hold of old tests is the way to study and don't forget to look at the figures in the book. Good Luck.

Your first day of class will make you want to re-think your major or desperately search if there's any other teacher to teach this. Nope there isn't. But he know's his stuff. His tests are next to impossible unless you find someone who has his old tests to study from (they are out there). This will be your saving grace.

Dr. Sinclair is an awesome professor. Very hard class. His tests are a combo of multiple choice, essay, fill-in, and drawing/reproducing pictures from the book. He is very helpful and is willing to go the extra mile to explain the hard stuff. Study a lot, come to class, pay attention, join a study group and you will do fine.

Dr. Sinclair is an awesome professor. He is super smart and intelligent and knows his s!@# inside out. He likes to tell stories so it would be wise to bring a tape recorder to class to go back and listen to important stuff while studying for tests. Study for the tests...they're not easy....but he's excellent and fair.
