What he teaches SEEMS like it makes sense, until you take the exams... Even when you read the book, the questions just don't make sense because they can't connect. There was even a study guide provided, but that doesn't even help. And when you ask him to explain something in the class, the best he can do is just repeat the same thing he just said.

Despite his accent / low tone (can't hear him sometimes, he is pretty easy. Only 3 tests and basically the chapter. Make sure you buy the Study Guide that comes with the book, if u read it and do every single problem and pay attention and take notes you can get an A with flying colors. If you ask him a question on an exam, he gives you the answer

Do not take this class. This professor may know plenty of the subject has very poor teaching skills. About 95% of the class is based on graphs, and half of the class was told to drop out after the first exam. It wouldn't be a problem understanding it if he could explain things more simply. Please take someone else and save yourself the stress.

He is not very good at all. Don't take him, his class is difficult b/c he is not good at explaining and he is hard to understand. Everyone bombed the first exam, so he gave us a bunch of points. He is a bad teacher!

There's no doubt that Dr.Lee knows his material, but does not help the students understand better in any way.He does not offer any extra help such as practice problems and such. He is very difficult to understand.

Dr. Lee is a bright man. He means well and he really wants his students to succeed. Honestly, the tests aren't bad if you study the material VERY THOROUGHLY. You simply can't just read it and expect to ace it. It takes practice. TIP: Start studying a week or two before the exam, go through each chapter/sample problems. It will help.

Pretty good professor, 310 covers more material than 202, but the material in 202 is harder. Study A LOT and read the book. Actually, read it twice. His tests are very hard and you will fail if you don't read. You will also fail if you don't go to class. And, you will fail if you spend the whole period fuming over his accent. It's not that bad.

Interesting course. Easier than Price Theory but still requires you to thoroughly understand material as you will find necessary on the MC portion of the exams. If you are interested in the subject, Dr. Lee's language and teaching style will not be a barrier. Does move very quickly but will always stop to answer questions.

Tough class! High emphasis on graphs, but you must work hard to succeed. People complain too much, if you're a serious student you should get an A b/c exams and grading scale are curved. Definitely a subject to spend extra time on b/c of its importance in economics

Dr Lee is a wonderful professor, clear lecturer and will take the time to explain if you ask him questions. Also he is very approachable during office hours. He teaches very standardized material "by the book". Reading the feedback here I think anyone so critical of him likely just did poorly in one of his '101' classes that are requirements.

This man is absolutely brilliant! Hard to understand (thick accent) but he knows economics inside and out. Watch out for his graphs, as he loves to use them. Traditional college professor who has 3 big tests and a few little bits. Tests are straight from lecture and reading.

Dr. Lee is a great man, and KNOWS HIS STUFF. I failed ECON 202 not because of his accent, but because I made the accent an issue. When I retook the course, with the chip off my shoulder, I found he was one of the best professors there. Anyone looking for a strong economics background would br well served to be taught by a man such as Dr. Lee.

He's really hard to understand, and sentence structure is lacking - which you'll notice when you get the first test and the questions aren't exactly in english - but a mixed up form for english

Dr. Lee is an economic mastermind! He is actually helpful, but I think he gives off the wrong impression. He is a traditional college teacher that bases his class off lecture. His macro and micro classes are very surface level, making it easier to understand and he truly favors the students.
