She is an amazing professor! Doesn't give out notes (usually) but all her lectures cover everything that is discussed in reading for that day. Always simple and short readings and she makes it all come together... as long as you come to class. Everyone should take her health psych course!

Spencer is probably one of the best professors at MCPHS. I had her for both intro to psych & health psychology and got an A in both classes. Her tests are very easy if you take good notes during class & read the articles (since there's no book required). She's also an easy grader for paper assignments and always willing to help.

I usually go to her for every paper that's due before a few days. She gives me a few comments to put what I need and then she gives me a D for the paper. Her office hours are just useless, I'd rather find a student who can help me with the class.

She's a funny professor! I really enjoy being in her class, keeps me awake. Just study and pay attention in class. For my class, she even brought in coffee to make her stay on topic but she still tends to get off topic a bit, which I think is good to keep the class awake and paying attention!!!

Spencer is an excellent teacher. I don't agree at all with the sterotypes that MCPHS students carry about Spencer. I truly respect her, and thank her for sharing her internals insights to us students. I cannot express in words of how invaluable her lessons are: both academically and disciplinary.

Dr. Spencer is really nice and her exams are easy if you just pay attention in class. There's not even a real need to study from the book as long as you PAY ATTENTION and study your notes a bit. She's kind of funny too! I'd recommend! 4.5/5 stars!

The readings for this class are so dull that I resorted to having someone stab me with a sharp needle every 30 seconds to keep me awake. She is really confusing and almost makes the readings worse by giving weird examples and analogies. Can't avoid her though. Other than that, she seems semi-nice.

A great teacher who really cares about her students. For the entire semester, we had 10 quizzes (worth 10 points) and two assignments, and no final. The quiz questions comes right off of the notes she gives in class. Also, she gives group quizzes. Unlike a lot of electives, time goes by pretty fast in this class.

Stacie spencer is a great teacher. her classes are never boring. however her tests can be tricky because she likes a specific answer. try using the old tests she gives back and applying the new material to the same type of questions.thats a quote from spencer herself! you dont have to buy the textbook but take good notes.
