The most influential professor I've had. This man taught me how to think on my own and how to be self-taught which are far more valuable then any degree. He's knowledgeable but will absolutely not spoon feed you. Although the content of the courses were fantastic, the real takeaway from his lectures are the life lesson he shares. Listen closely.

I took an online Management IS class at Empire State College. He was an easy going guy. Didn't offer solid direction, more like "keep trying" msgs. Not consistent w feedback or grades. Will not extend your time for missed work. NC'd me, overall, even with + graded personal and team assignments, handed in. Left me with a disdain for Mngmt IS.

He is my favorite CITA professor. I like that he tells it like it is, and that if he sees you working hard then you will be rewarded. He has a lot of life lessons, and valuable information about the outside world that is an interesting change to the regular curriculum.

Tough but fair teacher. If you can't handle him in class you can't handle the real world. Be ready to read, he give weekly quizzes on the chapters. If you aren't the best with test from text (like me) don't worry, you WILL not get an A but you can still do fairly well if you have the technical chops. If you need 8 hours of sleep a night stay away.

teacher who knows his stuff, can be a hard ass most times. teaches if you don't work hard it will show and in his classes it really does. You get what you deserve. Doesn't hold your hand through the classes. Gives you the assignment and tells you to figure it out.

His experiences and advice for students on office politics, decision making, and adjudication is invaluable. I have severe philosophical disagreements with his approach to teaching and social practises, but I think he just has a lot more of life figured out than most would comprehend.

Takes what would otherwise be a dry subject and makes it interesting. He is demanding, unsmypathetic toward failure, funny and AWESOME.Looking for an easy class to get an A then this is NOT the class for you.If you want to learn a lot and are willing to work hard this is the class to take.

Tough class to breeze thru, do your reading. But, Steve knows his stuff. He's not gonna feel bad for you, but you will most definitely learn the material from him. Enthusiastic, energetic, VERY straightforward. Take it if you have even the slightest networking interest. Great guy, better teacher

The best part about Steve is that he gives the no B.S. assesment. He always tells it like it is, which makes him the professor to go to for all of your "Real World" questions. I suggest that Morrisville make him the Dean of Real Life. His courses are tough though, and you WILL work for you grade.

He covers so much in one semester in all of his classes, so you walk out of your class thinking you missed a lot, but in reality you learned so much. I learned so much from him and his teaching style is different, but he makes you learn to learn.
