EXTREMELY easy. I took her online History of the English language and essentially skated by; I didn't read the textbook and skimmed the pieces of literature and still got a good grade. Reached out to her with a question once and she responded quickly and nicely, which was cool, and some of the assignments are fun (ie make memes). Take it for sure.

Most of the major grades you'll receive are papers, which is understandable but the prompts are either super vague or she tells you what she wants to specifically it doesn't give you a chance to expand your thoughts. The essays are long and due way too close together. Also, the books are pointless, and I really didn't learn a single thing.

The course work starts out seeming like a lot but only 4 essays are assigned throughout the semester with discussion boards and a small assignment here and there. Well structured and organized class and awesome professor! Hope I get to take her again for College Writing II!

Dr. Sainato was amazing. I took her Great Books to 1700 class online for the spring semester and I honestly read a few of the books we were required to read and spark noted the rest (at least I'm honest) and I still got an A+ in the class. She is very nice and I would take a class with her again.

She's an absolute sweetheart and genuinely loves to discuss topics in her class (even if it's online, as it was in my case). Her YA Lit class was brilliant and involved the most wonderful discussions and readings. Overall, it's easy as hell as long as you're down to discuss.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Sainato. I had her for Great Books til 1700, definitely a front load class, but at the end of the semester not as much work. Clear grading criteria, pretty easy on grading if its detailed, fun activities/db, she makes this class fun!-and you only have 3 quizzes! Really quick at responding to emails, too.

This professor is one you will talk about for a long time. She does an excellent job with online classes, and is more than willing to discuss assignments with you. There is a LOT of required reading, so stay on top of it or you WILL have a hard time catching up. She is one who cares about you and your education.

Dr. Sainato cares about her students' education. Only downside is you often have to read 300+pg books within a week if you take her Great Books Since 1700 class. She's very lenient with grading and if you show an effort, you'll get an A. I turned in my final late because of wifi problems, and no points were taken off.

Only had 4 papers all semester. It's a front loaded class meaning you do a lot of work and reading in the beginning and by the end it's a lot easier. She's willing to help if you ask for it

Dr. Sainato was by far one of the best professors I've had at Kent. The class I took was Great Books and she made it tolerable and doable. She also replied very very quickly to all my emails. She is a very sweet lady and I totally recommend her!

There is so much reading for this class. My biggest complaint was that you don't know what book is coming next so you look at the assignments for the week and see that you were supposed to read Lord of the Rings, which at that point is impossible to make up. There is a lot of reading and a lot of work, especially toward the end of the semester.

Easily the best professor at this university. She is more concerned with her students learning and enjoying the material than anything. If you have the option to take Dr. Sainato, DO IT. YOU WILL LOVE HER

Took online College Writing 2. The class was well structured, there was something to do each week but was very well balanced. We had 4 papers the whole semester, so not too bad. Everything else was discussion posts or short assignments. She helps you improve your writing. If you are willing to put in the effort, you will be able to get an A.

The best ever. She has a unique teaching style; prefers learning to be demonstrated in fun, creative ways rather than exams. Wants you to enjoy learning. I've written stories, drawn comics, and designed magazines for her. Heard rumors of sculptures and dioramas as well! Always there when you need help and is very understanding. Lots of reading!

Take College Writing II online with her. She is a great professor, really cares about the student and wants you to get a good grade. She assigns a fair amount of work, but do all of it and complete all the requirements and you will get an A. She is a very student friendly grader, and if you work, she understand if you are a busy person.

She was literally the easiest professor I have ever had. We watched all three Lord of the RIngs movies first semester. If you really love challenging reading and writing, don't take this class. Otherwise, I recommend her for everyone else.

Sainato is by far my favorite professor at Kent State. She is literally the nicest person you will ever meet. Her Children's Lit class was a little dull, but I had late work on occasion and she was very understanding of things that came up. She is very helpful all around! Great professor! Take her classes!
