1 of the best teachers I've had in 4 years of college. Very caring about students. Open to discuss personal experience and present possible connections for job opportunities. Lecture and PowerPoint heavy BUT I can confidently say I got my moneys worth out of this class and teacher.

I have taken Terry for four or five courses in my EKU career. No one cares more about their students than him. If you need anything, he is there for you. He is always available to discuss the topics if you don't understand them. My favorite professor and an amazing friend. Take him if you ever have the opportunity.

Nice man. Rambles on a lot about anything and everything. He mainly likes to hear himself talk. Tests are hard because he doesn't clearly go over things. Good luck with the assignments.

Terry is great, you can literally just show up and pay attention one out of every other class and still get the info because he's so in depth with everything and explains it down to the T. Easy to talk to if you have any issues.

Since everyone has to take CRJ 400 in the major, Terry Cox is the best guy to take for this one guys. I have taken no notes, and paid little to no attention in class during his lectures, and received an almost perfect score!!! Rarely any homework, and collaboration is encouraged within the class.

Very helpful and nice. Missing classes does NOT help...Be sure to attend and keep up with the assignments. Don't wait until the last minute to do them. He's super cool, and really knows his stuff.

NEED the book for adv stats class, Take good notes and keep up with the required notebook and assignments ( they are all due at end of semester ). Stay awake and do not miss a class, every day he cover important material. THIS CLASS is MODERATELY EASY, just keep up with material. He is a good professor and will work with you.

Homicide class. This is my second class with Dr. Cox, I'm taking my third class with him this summer. He is a cool guy, if you don't pass class with at least a B something is wrong with you. Take home test!

Very good professor. Very helpful outside of class. Moderate note-taking from powerpoint and you get to hear lots of stories. Two exams that are take-home short essay, most of which comes from the books and some from the notes. One paper to write. I have taken him twice and he is enjoyable to listen to. Class goes by pretty quickly.

This truly is the best professor I have ever had. The cool thing about him outside of being helpful in class is that he can and will help you as much as he can with anything outside of class. He really cares about his students and his profession. Each semester I look to see if he is instructing any classes that I am taking, so I can sign up.

Stats isn't a fun class to begin with, but I would def take him if you have to have it. He really baby feeds you the steps and makes it painless. All tests are open book, open note so you don't have to memorize all the formulas. If you go to class and have a clue what is going on then you will get an A!

He favors like crazy. If you are in a band, play guitar, hunt, and are from Eastern Ky than you are good with him. He's a great person, but not a good teacher. Bad at explaining and sort of unpredictable, esp with stats. Take him for the homicide class, he'd prob be better.

Dr. Cox was an outstanding prof. He was down to earth and appeared to genuinely care about his students. He could ding you on your assignments, give you constructive criticism, and still drink a beer with you later on (assuming you were over 21). One of the best in my student career.
