Comment:

Head of EMET program. Very knowledgeable in the subjects he's worked with, i.e. electrical, mechanical, and aerospace engineering topics. A bit tougher on grading most things, but is fair. Do what he expects and you'll be fine. Wouldn't say his classes are a breeze, but definitely not impossible. Seems to be a bit fond of his own opinions.

The class itself is easy but his projects and tests are loosely defined and its tough to know what exactly hes looking for, which makes the class difficult. if it's a choice between him and wiggins then i would definitely chose Speicher, but hes still not a good teacher.

Prof spikes may not be the most strict man on campus, but he knows what he's talking about most of the time. He makes the 2 hour 40 minute class decent enough to make me not want to kill myself, so I'll give him that. He could better, but he could also do a lot worse. I'd recommend him.

squeaky voice, useless class, weird grading system, ok at teaching things, would not recommend taking advice from him if your life depended on it, leaves class early, doesn't care if you goof off in class, guess he knows some aerospace stuff, didn't learn much from this class, honestly there are better professors.

HORRIBLE. Has this grading system where there's a total of 100 points for the whole semester and every single point you earn throughout the semester counts towards your final % grade.to make it even more impossible to get an A/A-,he has this really strict grading system.out of 10 points for an assignment,you can only score even numbers.STEER CLEAR!

This guy knows nothing, worst professor ive ever had. Class consisted of him haveing student put problems on the board while he sat back with the solutions manual and couldnt teach anything. Even though the class was kinda given to him mid semester, he didn't have to screw everybody's grades.

Class went like this: "Can i have some volunteers to put these problems on the board...would you like to explain the problem you put up...try these new problems for next class". even though the class was forced on him, he didn't teach, cuz he couldn't, even with the sol. manual. two students "taught" the class by going over problems he assigned.

supposed to have class twice a week. he always made up an excuse so he could leave. most of the time he makes u do work while he leaves for hours at a time, who knows where he goes. i never go to the class anymore, unless we do something with groups. just do the work outside of class on ur own time
