Do not take this professor. Lectures have little to nothing to do with the book, upon which most test questions are worth. Midterms and final are random, he gives you a list of questions and says that he "might put one or two of these on the test"

Let no one fool you, this professor is horrible. I can tell you more about his frequent trips to England than what I learned about Macroeconomics. His lectures could be considered as cruel & unusual... He gets off on tangents, forgets what his point was, and shakes his head dismissing it as irrelevant. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

this teacher is absolutely terrible. do not take him. his tests are completely random & could be from the lectures (which are painfully boring) or the text, depends on how he's feeling that day. not helpful at all so his office hours are useless & refuses to help you to do well in his class. if this is the only course open wait to take the class.

He is an excellent professor. His lectures are clear and related to real life. He is also a very tough grader. In order to do well you have to attend class every day and listen to the lectures. You must also do all of the readings! BEWARE... THERE ARE NO HALF GRADES IN HIS CLASS.

Whoever these students are who rate him so high must be crazy. I would like to commend the people who speak low of him. He is hands down the WORST professor I have had in my 4 years. I am an economics major and his classes are pointless to go to, you teach yourself, and his tests are tough. He is terrible!

He has been the greatest professor in SCU. I was inspired by him to major in econ because he made the most bored subject interesting. I love all his stories during his lectures. I had 3 classes of him. I highly recommend taking his class. Questions are given in advance, and randomly pick 5 on exams.
