Comment:

You will not do well in her class if you do not read the book. Her test questions are right from the questions in the text book. Her lectures teach you things that aren't in the book. But she does have pop extra credit quizes to boost your grade along with other extra credit. Nice but tough.

Dr. White is awesome! She teaches very well, offers tons of extra credit, and if you're willing to put in the work she is extremely helpful. She definitely made a very difficult class bearable!

Professor White is awesome for any psych course. She gives extra credit quizes at the end of every chapter or section, which help your exams a lot. Material is straight from notes and class discussion. Take good notes, use your text for them too. She also offers review classes for exams. She is ALWAYS willing to help. Take her, take her, take her!

Comment:

Good Teacher. Gives many opportunities for extra credit during class little easy quizzes stuff like that. Good teaching style, easy to understand. Very nice, not much work couple easy tests and one long paper but easy. I recommend her. I knew nothing about psych. and got a B+ and I didnt try very hard at all. Just take good notes!

I've gone to less than a third of the classes and I still have an A. Class is easy as long as you do the reading; no papers, no homework, just 5 tests (and you don't even have to take the final if you're happy with your other four grades.

at first i thought she was boring, she's not exciting but she uses power points that are really clear and if you ask her anything she's there to help. you have 5 tests and get to drop the lowest test grade, plus ALOT of xtra credit. she's an easy grader no homework and no papers : )

If you are expecting to have a helpful professor, I do not recommend this teacher. Not understanding at all. Will doc points for any reason and randomly changes grading policies. My favorite was when she said we had to attend every class or else, then she goes and misses two classes. Will not help you if you miss one class. Obessed with Oxford!

Great teacher, tests were very fair. On lecture material, She was a very nice and understanding prof. Have to pay attention in lecture, lots of opportunity for extra credit, if you study for the tests its very easy to get an A.

This professor was the worse I have taken at LeMoyne. If I heard about Oxford and all the famous psychologists she knew one more time I may have died. Her test are rediculously hard because it's on material that she puts on the powerpoint slide and clicks through within seconds. She is unclear and rarely helpful.

This was her first time teaching it and hopefully the last. Tests are really hard and a pretty long term paper. A lot of dry material to memorize for the tests. In class is straight copying notes from powerpoint and it isn't in her own words. Makes it very hard to study and memorize.
