Comment:
I liked professor brewer. It was hard to take notes from the powerpoint because some slides he would go on a tangent on and some he would fly through them. Quizzes you can use notes on, tests are on the hard side but after the first one you realize what is expected. He gave my class an opportunity to add points to our exam. Hes funny! Do recommend

Comment:
Dr. Brewer is a good professor. He has examples to back up his lectures and can occassionally go on a tangent. Allows notes for exams. Tests can be difficult so some studying is still required even with open notes. Willing to give points back if you can back up your work. Would take again!

Dr. Brewer is one of my favorite professors. Take him in class and you are guaranteed to pass. He gives you 2 "sick " days where you can choose not to go to class and still get full attendance points. Lectures are interesting because he talks about real life events not just textbook material. Test are not bad if you study the study guide.

In the Policy and decision making class you will spend a lot of time on your assignments and receive very little points for Them typically. He assumes that you Can basically read his mind and know how to do all of your assignments perfectly. In His grading rubric you can lose More points than the assignment is worth. I should have dropped it.

Comment:
Dr. Brewer is the harshest grader ever. If you do not write a novel for your discussion posts and cite your sources APA style you will get 12 out 20. If you do not do every little thing PERFECT you will get half of your points taken away. He is condescending in his emails when you ask for help and just expects you to have perfect case studies.

Dr. Brewer is a really nice guy. He expects you to try especially when taking a 3000+ level course. Does pop quizzes based on lectures which suck but make you go to class, and its pretty detailed. He won't try to trick you he just wants you to know the stuff. He expects you to try. Outside the class he is amazing and a really good professor.

Do NOT take him as an online professor! I have him for PH policy and decision making. He does not make an effort to teach the class at all-it's all straight from the textbook provided slides. He then grades everything very harshly expecting our work to be at graduate level when it is an intro class. I would have dropped if it were not required.

The best and by far my favorite teacher. Very Knowledgeable on how things are in the system. Class attendance is mandatory but it goes by fast because the guy is does pull some stuff out from his experiences and jokes around with the students. have questions ask he is more than glad to help. Curves like crazy recommend strongly

Textbook is horrible to read and does not make any sense. Need to attend class to do well on exams. Gives out unannounced quizzes, but can use notes! All lecture-based. I thought he was okay--would take him again for another class.

The class was interesting and he did a good job of teaching. HIS TESTING METHODS AND GRADING CURVE ARE RIDICULUOUS. He has no clue how to grade on a curve. On first test I received an 85 and after the curve I received and 87. The person behind me got a 72 before the curve and an 86 after the curve. Hopefully he will learn how to grade.
