Comment:

Farmer is an excellent professor. He requires you to be self motivates as he does not grade homework, but he is incredibly clear in his descriptions of the accounting process. He has zero tolerance for those who don't show up ready to learn which is refreshing for those who come prepared.

Dr. Farmer is an excellent professor. He is well-prepared for each class. He is not a textbook reader, instead, he spends time on the gist. He prepares some reading and exercise materials to help student understand the knowledge. If you really want to learn something from the class, Dr. Farmer is the best choice.

Farmer is misunderstood. He really is helpful, but his tolerance for stupid questions and stupid people is low which is why a lot of students don't like him, but why I and others loved him so much. The look of contempt that he would give someone asking an idiotic question was priceless. Don't buy the text, just pay attention and do the problems

This class was a real challenge for me but if you work hard you will pass it. Explains material very well. His appearance however does not encourage class participation. He is tough. Difficult class but not impossible to get a good grade if you work hard.

Dr.Farmer is very professional kind of professor. He explains the material very well. Although it's intimidating to ask him questions during class. As far as testing, he has 10 quizes which equal 100 pts, and if you're satisfied w/ quiz grade you don't take the final. As long as you do your homework and come to class it's easy to pull off A or B.

Dr. Farmer knows his stuff. Don't take this class if you're lazy...you have to work your butt off, but it's worth it. You'll learn a lot as long as you do the work. I highly recommend him as a teacher.

This was the worst professor I've encountered in my undergrad career. When my grandmother, who I lived with, passed away he didn't let me drop the class. He gave me an F. The next semester, I enrolled in hopes of doing better, and he dumped on more than half the class. Besides his class I graduated with a 3.2.

Dr. Farmer is very knowledgeable about cost accounting,however,he cannot impart that knowledge in a positive way.His class is demanding, confusing, and difficult to complete. He does not like women, especially women who participate in class.You are tested on if you can take his tests not acconting.

Dr. Farmer is a good instructor who is fair in grading. I learned a lot in his class. I do agree that at times he can be in a bad mood and can take it out on the whole class. If you answer a question wrong in discussion, he will make you feel stupid.
