I took this class thinking it would be an easy A but definitely not. Still going to get an A but really working hard for it. He's probably the most passionate teacher at Rhodes. This guy loves his music. But he gets off subject a lot and is sometimes hard to follow. I've heard other professors are easier than him. Still enjoyable class.

I LOVE BRYANT. he is so cute, and the nicest guy ever. the subject is pretty simple and you can see his passion for teaching at every class. very clear about test material, and just an hour of studying is all needed. Great man, great professor

Simply put, he is the kindest and most genuine professor I have ever had in my life. He has the biggest heart and is willing to help his students out with anything, at any time! He makes me wish Music was my major just so I could take more classes with him.

Professor Bryant was great! He's an incredibly sweet guy, very helpful and willing to answer questions and work with you one-on-one. While I don't feel like I was really strong on every topic we were supposed to learn, he definitely worked with those of us with a low knowledge of music upon entering the class. Very talented pianist too!

Dr. Bryant's course was difficult but extremely structured, and I learned a vast amount of music knowledge. For a survey course, Dr. Bryant's Music 101 did well in covering a wide variety of material but with a seemingly specific focus for each element of the syllabus. I would highly reccommend this course, but it was certainly not an easy A.

Professor Bryant is one of the best music instructors I've ever had, and I've been taking various lessons since I was 6 years old. He cares, he's clear, and he likes to have fun - all while teaching you good stuff!

Nicest professor on campus. Make sure not to miss *any* class without getting ALL missed notes. The notes are all-important. You can basically ignore the textbook. Know details for tests or lose points! Bryant's grading scale is challenging: A = 100-94, A- = 93, B = 92-86, C = 85-75, etc. You listen to pretty music in class and become more cultured

The sweetest man ever! He loves to tell goofy stories in class. If you ask him any questions during a test, he practically gives you the answer. Prof Bryant is one of the nicest people ever; he would never hurt a fly.
