The reasons for why Vic is a horrible professor are endless. Class is useless, didn't learn a single thing because he loves to hear himself talk. Whats important to actually pass his exams/quizzes is the BOOK! Read the chapters carefully, study guides are useless. Definitions, statistics, percentages, the smallest things WILL be on his exam!

Did not enjoy this class at all. Vic goes on and on about the most insignificant things such as alcohol or sports and wastes our time. He tries to be funny, but after awhile, it gets old. He thinks he is hip and cool but in reality he is mean to his students and get angry really easily. Dont even bother studying for the quizzes bc they are random

This class was an absolute joke. He just goes off on tangents about the Bears or roasts some kids in class for whatever reason it may be. He doesn't really go over the material that you need to tests, quizzes or the group project and often times you will find yourself lost wondering what in the world to do or what to study for. Stay away from Vic.

Gave the fattest curve at the end of the semester. Nothing in the lectures is useful for the tests but at least he's entertaining. Just read the book chapters and do the learn smart homeworks and you'll be fine. A lot of extra credit too.

Absolutely terrible at teaching, going to class will actually make you lose brain cells because Vic doesnt value any of his students time. Vic rambles on about how much alcohol all of his students should be drinking and spends 50% of the class trying to get students engaged by asking them personal questions during the lecture. Horrible teacher:)

Vic is one of the most engaging professors i've ever had. Always made class funny and gave lots of real-world perspectives on things. Exams weren't very difficult but also not easy. Class is mainly made up of exams, with HW/quizzes making up the rest. A really great guy that makes the class very interesting. Do your readings and HW and u'll be fine

Hard A. Exams are too specific and are weighted too heavily. Gives extra credits but 90% of them are for sport games. Homework are easy but only worth 13%. The 4 quizzes that we had were worth 17% and there's only 5 questions per quiz. In class, he mainly talks about his life story and makes you remember random facts that'll be on the exam.

Basically you have to go to all of his lecture just to sit there and listen to him tell jokes, and try to convince the entire class that he is basically a billionaire. The class is almost completely self taught and for homework you have 1-2 80+ question learnsmarts due each week. The test should not be to bad if you dissect each chapter in depth.

Vic gets a bad rap. He's extremely funny and makes lectures super entertaining. Sometimes he says things that are a lil to savage but honestly anything to get me through an hour lecture. Class hard to get an A in because tests cannot be prepared for by studying. Pay attention in class and show up. Gives a decent amount of EC (White knight of biz)

People who say that Vic is the worst professor they've every had are probably the bottom-feeders of school. If you show up to class (sometimes he randomly will have an easy quiz or do a participation grade when there aren't that many people) you'll be fine. His lectures are entertaining and help you remember key terms for the test. Great teacher!

He's charming but this class is awful. Very, very difficult to get an A. Tests and pop quizzes include questions on really specific things from the book or guest speakers. You would think that Intro to Marketing shouldn't be a hard class but it was the hardest class I've taken so far in college

The class is difficult if you take it online. There are learn smart assignments and quizzes daily. He has 4 exams throughout the class and does not provide a study guide for any of them. Read the textbook if you want to do well on the exams because his powerpoint slides do not help at all. Make sure you do not fall behind. No extra credit.

Toughest A I've ever earned. Vic loves to ask "gotcha" questions on tests that pull from minutiae within the book. My study tip for his exams is to study the heck out of the chapters and remember *every* real-world example, case study, and percentage no matter how minor. Quizzes not as bad, study slides + any in-class guest speaker material. GL

Tells stories all class about his life- tells the same stories a million times. Doesn't teach in class at all but if you skip more than 2 classes and he catches you, he'll fail you. HW is easy. Tests are very hard no matter how much you study for them. Study guides don't help. Offers EC throughout the semester. 5 quizzes, drops 1.

Take everything you know about college and throw it away. Vic is a tough instructor for sure, but if you actually take the time to go for help it's doable. You can't do first semester Eller alone, if you're struggling (and everyone does) go in for help.

Try and get all the learnsmarts done before the semester starts. They are pure busy work and really interfere with more important things as time goes on. Lectures are fun but useless, make a point to go because Vic will take attendance for a grade or have a quiz if he sees a lot of people absent. Tests are rough just study everything in the book
