He's not a bad dude but he literally has no vitality whatsoever. He just sits there talking an an extremely slow pace each and every class. Look around the room and maybe like 25% of the students are paying attention. Boring but easy. Tests require mostly common sense and minimal studying.

Very boring class material. Nice teacher, but he lectures the whole class. Gives 10 extra credit opportunities, but also gives 4 tests. You receive handouts every class that are hand written. The study guide for the tests is very helpful, but really detailed. If you try you can get a good grade, but its very boring. Dont bother renting text books

EXTREMELY boring class. All he does is talk and talk and talk and goes off on tangents that have nothing to do with the class. He hands out prewritten notes that make reading the textbook largely pointless so as long as you study those you should be alright. Stupidly easy to get away with not paying attention in class.

Boring class but you get 6 points to added to your final grade for coming to class. Offers up to 20 points to your final grade by doing a total of 10 extra credit movies. So it's an easy 4.0 if you put in the effort. Study his handouts and fill out his study guide to do well on the tests, the tests are all multiple choice, matching, and T/F.

Really interesting, and intelligent professor, willing to work with you if you have any problems. Lectures are heavy, but interesting, and keep you listening all class.

The most boring professor at Fitchburg State. I took Philosophy of Human Nature with him at 9:30 and just about fell asleep every class. He just sits there all class and talks. He hands out the notes but they are no help. The tests are impossible. The only way I passed the class was because I did all the extra credit. DO NOT TAKE.

Dr. Jeffko is a very sweet man as on a personal level but his classes consisted of an hour and fifteen minutes of him reading and elaborating off of hand written notes. When I took this course there were no powerpoint, class work, or class activities; just monotone lectures. The grading is based on attendance, three tests, and a research paper.

Incredibly boring. Sits in his chair all class and lectures about his hand-written notes that he passes out. Only like 3 tests all semester that's your only grade so make sure you study hard and attempt to pay attention. Don't take at 8 am it will be a snooze fest.

Dr. Jeffko seems like a nice guy but his teaching style is incredibly boring. It is quite impressive that he knows so much and is so interested in what he teaches. The class seems to go on forever sometimes. If you go to class it is pretty easy though. In my class the only people who did terribly were those who attended about 5 classes all semester

I'm taking this class as a minor requirement and I honestly want to die. I sincerely think this class will be the death of me. I had Svolba for all my other philosophy courses, so I am used to fun and interesting teaching styles. Jeffko just sits in the front of the room reading from hand written notes. God awful.

How do I put this. Sooooo boring. You will hopefully fall asleep. his attendance policy is nice if you get to class, and if you use flash cards to memorize each study guide completely before a test and have commone sense you can get an A+ no problem. He says to use the book sometimes. I have a low A and never opened it.

He is, by far, the worst philosophy professor I have ever had. He focuses more on the roman catholic church and the legality of moral issues than the issues themselves. He gives meaningless, useless facts on the subject and does not encourage any sort of critical or reason-based thinking. If you LIKE philosophy, do not take him, please.

He gives out tons of extra credit which is great but he is the most boring, unhelpful, tedious teacher ever!! All he talks about is religion even when it has nothing to do with the subject. Don't take a 8am with him!

His class is easy to sleep through, but it is easy and straightforward. Right off the bat he lets you know exactly what the class will pertain and sticks to it. One of the best philosophy professors in the school no doubt, and he really sparked my interest in the subject matter.

He is very dull, he makes me want to sleep. He is so old, and does not make class fun or interesting. There is no debating, its strict facts about the issues, which is a lot of memorizing and useless information. I don't think its even worth taking for a required class, pick another philosophy/ethics class
