Love Dr. Milner! He is so passionate about what he does and really cares about his students. He is by far my favorite professor as UE. Milner is incredibly interesting with many amazing stories. I loved my time in Model UN and Dr. Milner definitely contributed to that. I would gladly do Model UN again and take any of Dr. Milner's other classes.

Milner is seriously the best. So passionate everyday, and always happy go lucky. Incredibly sharp, and expects you to work. Not the easiest class, but you learn so much and feel accomplished by the end of it. He has high expectations of you but is so great you want to do well to gain his respect. All around great guy.

Took many classes from Milner and he was my advisor - also went to harlaxton with him. Very nice man but also very fair. Super smart. Also exams don't have much to do with daily lecture but will focus initially on key points that are important for exam purposes.

It's an interesting class. He leaves you in charge of preparing for the conference for the most part, but he does help along along the way. It's important to do the research outside of class, but he'll always answer questions and the such.

He's the best. Milner has such a passion for what he's doing that you can't help but love it. He uses the book a lot, but if you pay attention to the news and listen in class, you can avoid a little of it.

Great professor! Very funny. Like everyone says read the book. But his tests really aren't too hard just known what's going on in the news. He loves if you come by and chat during office hours.

I had Dr. Milner when he first started at UE and he was one of my favorite professors. He is experienced in the field and extremely knowledgeable - particularly in international politics. He was engaging and funny, and always available to talk outside of class. We worked hard in his classes, but we definitely learned a lot.

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE BOOK!!! Stuff from class doesn't show up on tests as much as your reading does. It is hard to get an A, but you might be able to pull off an A-. If you have no international studies background- Good Luck! You learn about what's going on in the world (from political cartoon

He's a great prof, but he relies too much on participation, especially when our class is one of the bigger lecture classes. He does always have essays, but if you prepare, it's a breeze. He's usually always behind, but he's awesome anyway!

I had Dr. Milner for US Foreign Policy after taking his PSCI 160 (Intro to International Relations) course, and I found the two courses very similar. Often, I felt as if a PSCI 361 lecture were simply two combined lectures from 160, and felt ripped off.
