Comment:

Material is tough but he's a great teacher. Encourages you to ask questions and will explain it thoroughly until you understand it. Try to pay attention. Tests are only 5 or 6 questions so if you don't know how to do a question it's trouble, but the tests are always fair. Homework optional except if it's writing assignment. Don't get textbook.

This dude is awesome. He gets his point across well and reviews material a bunch of times before the test (and the questions are usually really easy anyways). I think his sense of humor really makes the class great too. 1010 would absolutely take all of his classes if I could.

Comment:

Mahmoud is a mathematic genius and expects everyone in his class to be up to par with him. Although, he understands the material he teaches, he does not break it down for students who are not geniuses in math like him. My grades fluctuated in this class from 100s to 50s on quizzes. He does drop the two lowest quiz grades. Don't recommend him.

Best professor ever. Pushes you to become the best student you can be. I absolutely love him. He explains everything until you fully understand it. This guy is a genius. I remember everything I learned in his courses, even years after learning them

Mahmoud Zeinalian is a genius and he feels like all of his students should be this way too. He doesn't allow the use of calculators in this course, which is very difficult for me because I am not good with math at all, and feel unstable without a calculator. His quizzes are one question so it's make it or break it. Be prepared he's difficult.

Great professor, as a returning student my math skills where horrible, but prof Zeinalian took his time. He allowed the class to ask dumb questions in order to allow the new students to get on pace with him. I would take him for any math course at Post. The makes the work look easy even though its not.

the best math teacher I've had. easy grader; he tells you exactly how the quizzes are gna be, and theycount for a lot of grades. he isn't strict with attendance, just don't push it.

he's a really great professor... he goes over all of the material until the whole class understands. he will always answer any questions and wants everyone to do well. tests are very basic and he always tells you what types of questions will be on them. definitely take his class, you are guaranteed to do well!

I hated math and had been failing it since second grade. He is super easy and fun and its not your average math class because he teaches you interesting fun facts instead of boring algebra . He's amazing!

Great Professor! Yes, he does have an accent but after a week or two you will no longer notice it. He explains everything multiple times just in case you did not get it the first or second time. We had five tests & a final but two tests got dropped. Tests were 20 points each and final at 40 points. If you are not that strong in math, take Mr. Z!

I have him for math 1 & he is a great teacher. he has an accent, but it doesn't hinder your learning. he loves what he does and he wants you to understand. take him if you want to raise your GPA and if you're not great at math. you will pass!

I have him for Math 9 (calculus 3) and he at least knows what he is talking about. He is better than Berrisford, yet Burns has one up on Zeinalin... her accent is non-existant... Zeinilan's is heavy.
