Very passionate prof who genuinely enjoys the subject and teaching. He tries his best to make sure you understand the concepts by screaming in a mic. Your grade is 3 tests (88%) and hw (12%). Come to class and take good notes. He posts notes but it can be hard to understand what he meant at the time. Use the old tests on HKN, and you'll be fine.

Very good professor. Kind of boring in class but gives lots of information. Best way to do well is to go to class, do the homework, and study the old tests. If you do this you will be fine.

Dr. Singh is a tough professor. He really cares about his students & wants to make sure you understand the material. He holds help sessions before exams, which helps if you don't understand the homework. His exams are very tough & worth 88% of your grade. HW is graded for effort. Don't skip class, take good notes, & pay attention and you'll be fine

If you are an elec student, take it, his lecture will benefit you. IF YOU ARE NOT, and you are not willing to spare more time on it, drop it. He is trying to make all of his students make sense the hardest content instead of the basic, you will see it in the test(and hw).

Dr. Singh was one of the best lecturers and teachers I have ever had the pleasure to learn from. He gives students all the material that they need to excel in the class during his lectures and in the homework assigned, and his tests did not include material we hadn't gone over or overly complex questions designed to trick students.

After you build a solid foundation in the beginning of the class, most of the rest of the material is pretty intuitive so not very difficult to understand. Homework can be a little difficult at times. If he spends a long time on a problem multiple times, it'll be on the test. He's a blessing compared to what I've heard about other DLC profs

Lectures are terrible (you won't learn anything 90% of the time), and tests are incredibly difficult even if you use the Eta Kappa Nu test banks to study. Hardest class I've ever taken.

Hes pretty cool and not a bad lecturer but this man is the worst with tests he is dedicated to an even score distribution and will have 40% of the class below a C on each test. Hw is participation but the TAs dont tell you if you got the problems right or wrong or give feedback at all. Good luck if you ignore the reviews like I did.

I don't know why Singh has such a high rating. The material is easy enough, but Singh is horrible at teaching the material for his tests. The textbook is outdated (from the 90's) and difficult to understand and 3 tests determine your grade despite homework taking hours per assignment. If you take him get acquainted with online resources.

You will have a good bit of homework, but only two tests. If you pay attention in class and do the homework you will be able to pass pretty easily. If you skip class don't expect to pass.

Dr. Singh means well, and is honestly a good teacher, however he makes the tests/hw very difficult, and only has 3 tests of 5-8 questions worth 88% of your grade. The book is absolutely useless for anything other than the assigned questions, so take good notes. In all, if you come to class and pay attention you should pass.

Good lecturer, but he tends to repeat himself a lot. I found the textbook absolutely useless, so make sure you pay attention and take good notes in class. Tests weren't too bad. Semifrequent homework, you need the textbook for that. Has some very interesting stories, loved listening to those.

Took Singh for Elec2200. Great guy. Lectures sometime dull, but explains in detail. As for the actual work, expect about 6 homeworks, each will take between 1 and 3 hours, but he gives you a week or more time to get it done. 3 tests, all come from similar homework/classwork problems. Easy class if you put in a little time.

I took DLC this past semester and really thought I understood the subject. After I took his tests, I thought I did well, but instead I got a 37 and a 42 on the tests. This is because he grades extremely tough and one mistake will make you miss pretty much the entire question. 5 question tests. I know the material pretty well but failed the class.

First off I don't know who everyone who gave a good review had but it wasn't Singh. His teaching skills are abysmal. He expects you to know the information as good as him, but he's been doing it for 30 years, which you wouldn't be able to tell. Partial credit on tests is a joke, miss a symbol? Minus 10. And his clarity is as good as muddy window

Boring class, but logic circuits are kind of a boring subject. But it's pretty easy. Homework assignments, 2 tests plus final. Many old tests available online, just search Eta Kappa Nu (also available for many other ELEC classes.
